I did like that series.

Freddie's "panic attacks" made me cry laughing, also Rodrigo's temper trantrums, when he was kicking out at the diary room door.

starry 04-02-2010 09:14 PM

Well I liked it when it was on, it held my attention more than 8 or 9. Just a shame about those who were left in the final week.

Raph 04-02-2010 09:17 PM

nope. i thought it was the worst series, even from the launch night, there were so few people actually there, i mean the whole series felt very weak,, and i didn't particularly like any of the housemates... Kris was fit and I liked Hira and Rodrigo but other than that meh.. sorry! :p

Bea yes, Sophie yes, Freddie yea for the first few weeks, but Sree and Roddy were the worst HMs from BB10.
Even big David was better than them.

I didn't like Sree but he did have a role to play early on in the series and the Noirin story. Rodrigo though just had the fake Charlie relationship, his tantrums and the Queen task which was set up by Endemol for him.

Thats right I remember the mass hate for Charlie on TIBB :joker:
He was entertaining though, with or without Rodrigo.

When I think of BB10 I still think of that time when he ran into the Bedroom while Lisa was trying to sleep, and he ran in with a pot and just banged it shouting 'WALLAAY' :joker:
She was so pissed off lol

Did you watch BB4?

I didnt but alot of people hate that too.

I think BB8 and BB10 both had the potentital to be good but they were ruined..

BB10 because people kept voting out entertainers and the producers were lazy bastards.

BB8 because it followed after CBB5 so it was always going to fail, Where as people like the Twins,Brian,Channelle and Charley could of became really famous in the BB World but didnt because Jade Goody ruined BB for everyone in CBB5.

But the entertainers did get quite far in BB10. Freddie lasted for quite a while, Marcus nearly got to the last week. When Noirin went there was still Bea and the conflicts that generated.

The immediate victim of the tabloid fury over CBB5 was Emily. The Twins I don't think could ever have become famous, just one dimensional and that's why they were made into one HM (unfairly) in the end. Brian and Charley were probably not that multi-dimensional either.

I wouldn't blame Jade (or her mother, who made me laugh) for the problems in CBB5. The tabloids had profited from BB and now they saw the chance to profit from killing it. But the tabloid always overrate their power and they didn't kill it. Endemol should have more careful of their editing of CBB5 though so they didn't make it a show with just one story like they did. It wasn't the first or the last time that within the Big Brother game a HM got isolated but they underestimated how some would use it to use it for political issues in that particular case.

arsenalforever 05-02-2010 08:55 AM

foR me, it had a poor winner a poor last week and the public were to blame for losing a few top HM's too

but overrall it was far better then 9 and 8 but won't be held up anywher near 3 or 5

iRyan 10-04-2010 04:17 AM

I was skeptical to watch this season because people said bad things about it but i'm on Week Five and I LOVE it so far. Every episode is entertaining.

MrGaryy 10-04-2010 04:33 AM

It had it's moments of greatness. The opening week's twist was just SO dull and pointless though at least it got rid of Beinazir. There was so great tasks also.

The cast had a lot of potential. Bea, Marcus, Angel, Rodrigo, Noirin, Freddie [until he turned sour in the last week or so] and Lisa were all fantastic housemates. It had a really great winner and I actually really enjoyed the final week. The anniversary year was good too.

The only things that let it down were their support of that absolutely VILE human being Charlie, he tainted the show for me. And also the terrible execution of the twists.

iRyan 10-04-2010 04:42 AM

I haven't seen the whole show yet as I've said, but I'm shocked to hear people saying they hate Charlie now that the show is over. Did he change dramatically later on in the series, because right now he is so likeable to me...

The first day of the Italy task was amazing. My favorite task thus far. Siavash and his outfits, especially the barrell one where in the DR Big Brother asks him to please sit down and when he tries to he falls and can't get up was brilliant. And Karly and Rodrigo giggling everytime Freddie began singing badly, and Sree completely messing up the ice cream part. Loved it.

Joe. 10-04-2010 07:22 AM

I Loved it, from Beinizir to Sophie and all the bit's in between. I'd rather re-watch BB10 than BB5! I really enjoyed it, each and every daily show was entertaining and I really enjoyed it as a series, not nearly as much as BB9 though ;)

Charlie just became too nice, they all thought he was going to win and he even admitted thinking he was going to win. In the end I hated him, I like outsiders winning and come final night he didn't have many fans :xyxwave:

DrunkerThanMoses 10-04-2010 08:08 AM

I thought it was the best in years, the reason I started watching big brother again. Shame the ratings were bad and the press were horrid towards it.

Raph 10-04-2010 09:13 AM

BB10 was always going to be 'poor', following a brilliant series like BB9. I mean you can't say BB10 had anyone as amazing as: Rachel, Rex, Darnell, Cookie Kat, Dale, Lisa, even Luke and Bex! The only nice thing about BB10 was Hira - but then she got evicted unfairly tbh.

InOne 10-04-2010 09:20 AM

Was a decent series, although people got built up too much. Marcus and Siavash turned out to be wimps and Freddie turned out to be a edit. I actually quite like Bea now, I saw her in a shoe shop lol

sooty 10-04-2010 09:29 AM

I did not like Bea at all.

WOMBAI 10-04-2010 09:37 AM

In my opinion - BB10 was ruined by all the hero worship of your standard, token caveman Marcus! Just a deluded, overgrown boy, who clearly didn't have much luck with women (unsurprisingly) - but many acted as if he was the second coming of Christ or something - it was so annoying - not to mention bloody boring!

How were Rachel and Dale amazing? They were as dull as dishwater. Brought nothing to the show.

Dale was fit. And Rachel is a family friend of mine. And the nicest person to have ever gone into the BB house. She stood up for all her friends in there, made me smile everyday whilst watching her, and triumphed to be the best BB winner ever.

The thing I like about this season the most is there is always at least one "storyline" going on. It makes you want to know what's going to happen next.

I'm on and off with her. I appreciate her as a character and as a housemate but I do think she leads people on and is a game player.

Billy 14-04-2010 08:00 PM

BB10 was incredible IMO.

Noirin, Sree, Bea, Sophie, Karly are in my top 10 fave housemates ever. They were SO entertaining!

iRyan 14-04-2010 08:03 PM

I think the ratings and press somewhat influenced people to believe the season sucked when in reality it was fantastic. If it got great ratings then I think peoples opinions might be different.

Almost every housemate is a big character. Usually each season you get 4 or 5, but this season 90% of the people were big characters.

ILoveTRW 14-04-2010 08:11 PM

id probably say noirin is my all time favourite housemate
i love that girl

Rob 14-04-2010 08:12 PM

it was a fantastic season, regardless of the ratings

'Conor 14-04-2010 08:16 PM

great season i thought brill characters (noirin, marcus, bea, freddie)

ILoveTRW 14-04-2010 08:18 PM

i think most people now agree noirin was the star of the show

She was really. She had literally all the guys besides the gay ones and Kris wrapped around her finger.

Stacey. 14-04-2010 08:26 PM

Freddie and Bea were the highlight of BB10. :D

Oh dear......

Noirin, Sree, Bea, Sophie, Karly.. entertaining??? same sentence? :S

No wonder BB is being axed.

Nah Marcus and Freddie were big characters. The others were nasty vile things who clinged on into Lisa's pack to secure they would not be up for eviction.

Patrick 14-04-2010 08:57 PM

You all fail to see Marcus was BB10 not Noirin, not Freddie or Bea.

But I agree, had the reviews and media coverage been better for BB10 It would of gone down as one of the best but people just blanked it out and didnt give it a chance just like they did with BB9.

It did have great moments, but the tasks were over used and every week was the same, they picked a country, they put **** flags around the house and acted 'the culture' out.

The Housemates made it great.

And it did have one of the most amazing intense evictions ever.
When Marcus and Noirin went head to head, utterly brilliant.

I loved when TiBB Devided that week into Marcus fans and Noirin fans.
Was brilliant, I still remember the Friday I was so nervous because Marcus was the favourite to go and the Nora & Marcus fans were fighting on here LOL

And then when Marcus survived I was so happy.

Beastie 14-04-2010 09:03 PM

Marcus was actually quiet in the first week or something.. 2nd week he was the first to speak up to Lisa then a few weeks he was a bit under the radar and then half way through until he was evicted he was very entertaining! Marcus was not always up there but he is still in my top 3 fave housemates of bb10 along with Freddie and Angel <3

Lol sorry. Suppose I am a bit bitter that none of my favourites were in the final. :( Then for the sake of it, it would have been funny if David won.

MusicMan 14-04-2010 09:12 PM

Roddy was BB10 for me :)
Although Freddie came out with some comedy gold :D
I dunno, I'm kinda the other way round about it
I enjoyed it whilst it was on, but looking back, it wasn't that great a series in my opinion
Charigo was just the funniest though! :joker:

Rob 14-04-2010 09:13 PM

rodrigo really was hilarious!

Stacey. 14-04-2010 09:14 PM

ah, i loved Roddy :D
Charlie blamed him for it all, and acted so immature tbh!
