But, the point is: that its just people dying! it happens all the time! |

and so they should  They have worked for the money! Its just people dying. |

I'm not saying it's anyones problem, but what you're suggesting is that we should just leave them all to it. Leave them all to suffer, grieve and then ultimately die. What good does that do? On the same line of reasoning, I'd assume that if you were to pass a house on fire one night, you'd just walk past as if nothing was happening because 'it's not anyone elses problem that their house is on fire'. |

Why are they poor?
Can I just ask that, because you always see on TV.. 'Donate 2 Pounds a month to this little guy, he needs water blah blah' Why the fuck dont they just get money? Why cant someone send them over money? Or just like fly over the country throwing free Bottles of Riverrock out the window of a helicopter? |

The people of Haiti, on the other hand, were working for hours and hours on end, doing jobs that you could never imagine, for very, very little money. There's no comparison. Absolutely no comparison. |

and yep, we do! But, we cant keep giving money away to them!! Yes. we should leave them! evem if we gave them so much money - doesnt mean it would stop any more earthquakes though! no, i wouldnt leave that... if its something right there: [like your example of the house on fire], then its possible to help within minutes! :) |
Quote:
I mean we could give them so much of our money to the point were people over here are almost poor. And then they think their wicked, build so many houses and buildings. Living it up in luxury and then suddenly another earthquake happens and all the money goes to waste. Its just because of where they live basically. Im not going to ask for them all to move to parts of Europe because tbh Im fed up anyway of seeing fillipinos and Polish people in my country, but there isnt much we can do. Its the earth that decides when an earthquake will happen, money cant stop that. |

what the papers [and many people] have said about them, they took everything in their stride, and were good people for it  Every week in The X Factor, they came out fighting! no matter what people said... they did it for all their fans! they practised until late at night, and got up early, still practising! they never gave up, and this is worked for. They now have a single too, which theyve worked very hard on![reminder] :D the other contestants too, said how hard they worked, also! |
Please stop it, no one cares about these stupid twats anymore, they failed at gettign their ****ty number one and their album will fail. Please Im fed up of coming on here and seeing all this Jedward ****, this isint the Jedward Love Forum. The constant Posts about them are ruining this good webiste. Im bloody pissed!
Thank you |

We cannot literally stop that! |

It's the same principle though, no matter how big or small. You either leave all, or nothing. If your parents were in that fire and some stranger was in your position, I'm sure you'd want them to help, wouldn't you? |

our school have kept asking for money - my family are not rich anyway so ... People just cant keep affording to give their money away like this! |

Same here. I walked out of class the other day and theirs posters 'Help Haiti' all over the school. My God, so everyone else was bringing in pounds like Fivers and more, to give to them. And I was just sitting there in disgust. |

Its A UK TV Forum. Jedward have been one of the main talks of UK TV for the past few months. Its going to take a month more or two before they fade away completely. Just try and stay out of the XF Section and you'll be fine. |

For the sake of humanity I sincerely hope something on this scale affects you, and anybody else that feels the same way. Maybe then you'd all understand. |

we wouldnt get any luxuries, if everyone in the world were like you and Harry  |
Stacey what is more inportant. Spending a pound on some sweets which are not good for you anyway or spending a pound to help someone suffering in a less well off country who would dream of eating that mars bar.

Sometimes, you have to be a little bit selfish, if you werent, you would have no luxuries yourself  |

I think Stacey and some other people, would rather spend money on things to help them rather than things to help strangers.. Thats how I see it anyway. |

A small amount would go along way. Sparing a pound, or even less, still goes a long way. The amount of money you spend during a week on snacks and drinks would seem like a fortune to them. Even if the majority of the world all donated a penny each, that would amount to a lot of money. If you aren't willing to spare the smallest bit of money that you don't need, then you, and others who think the same, have a problem. |

Would you rather if you were in a situation like the Haiti people that people would spend money on you to help you live in life. You really are shallow. |

But, they make us feel better  We are here to enjoy our own lives, not giving money to other people we dont even know! |
