Hmm I hope so because one of the reason that battle is so iconic is because of the Great Hall and Mrs Weasley's line to Bellatrix. I loved how Harry had a crowd watching whilst he was duelling Voldemort but they were also fighting their own battles against the Death Eaters.
Oh and apparently in the film Crabbe is completely removed because he was arrested last year for cannabis possession meaning in the Fiendfyre scene where Draco and the trio fight, Crabbe's been replaced with Blaise. |
It sucks that there is going to be a big gap between two parts that continue directly after each other
|
It's going to be good, but can't say that I like how the trailer was produced. Just felt totally different to the rest. Still though, the clips look magic.
|
Think it looks different cause there is little of Hogwarts in it
|
Maybe, but I think they got somebody new in to put it together. Just feels different. Don't ask me why though!
|
Wouldn't surprise me
they've gone through a few producers, editors and a couple of directors throughout the series |

I'm annoyed that they've changed the final duel between Harry and Voldemort, especially when you think that the entire series has been leading to that moment. When I read it in the book I went all goosebumby and I was looking forward to it translating onto the screen. Other than that its going to be epic. Actually scratch that, epic doesn't even cover what this film is going to be. |

Hmm I think the 1st ever poster might have been their inspiration for this one |
omg that seems so long ago :bawling:
|
From the trailer I can't believe how much the castle gets destroyed. Its brilliant but damn, the four founders would be turning in their graves!!

Interesting, would never thought of that point for the split. |
New pictures!!!!
http://media.mugglenet.com/i//movie7...mauldplace.jpg More here: http://www.mugglenet.com/app/news/show/3711 Getting so so so excited for this now!! Currently listening to all the audiobooks, narrated by Stephen Fry. He's perfect for HP, he does all the voices well. Apart from Draco, which he doesn't sound anything like film Draco. |
That happened around Shell Cottage which is about right.
|
There was a test screening last night and there's a Twilight reference! Not happy about that at all. It's just jumping on the bandwagon and getting the film and Twilight more publicity. Oh and apparently there's a scene in the film where all of Ron's worst fears come true including seeing Harry and Hermione topless in bed making out.
|
I need to read the book again, because the split point means nothing to me
|
The film also is 2 and a half hours long and that's only part 1.
|
Sooo excited
Although the Harry/Hermione making out scene will be awkward, they are not suited! D: |

Sooo pretty!!! http://media.mugglenet.com/i//movie7...rmionetent.jpg Awww! This must be after the fight |
Really cannot wait for this film!!

I actually can't wait. I wanna see it soo bad. The book was amazing, I think the film will probably be as good, well I hope anyway. Hurry up November! |
Only thing I'm not looking forward to from the first film is in Ron's nightmare he sees Harry and Hermione making out. That will be awkward to watch.

Just to give youthe heads up. A new full length trailer for the first film should be hitting the web within the next two weeks. Before the end of September anyway. Heard on LeakyNews:thumbs:
|
The new trailer will hit the web on Wednesday 22nd. Only trouble is that its being released 9pm EST which means us the UK have to wait up until 2am to watch a trailer for a BRITISH film, adapted from a book a BRITISH author wrote.
Why does america get the convenient release times for trailers etc? Its a British film? |
I know, it's unfair! :( I guess they know it will do better at the US Box Office so they try and promote more there.
|
I hope there not going to try to add some stupid triangle-like scenes between the trio making it seem like the one from the crappy unoriginal Twilight films.
I mean I know nothing actually happens between Harry and Hermione but the last couple of films have gone on a tangent with their own drastic OTT versions of things. Anyway, I'm most looking forward to seeing the scenes set in Godric's Hollow. I hope it lives up to how I imagined the place in the books, they were some of my favourite scenes in the last book with the Halloween flashback. |
The Half Blood Prince was the darkest book I think. They didn't capture that in the film at all I thought. It's a shame really.
|
I re-read the book a couple of weeks ago so it's fresh in my mind for the film release which I'm looking forward too.
Although who is the guy in the clips that holds his hand out infront of the Hogwart's Express? (Death Eater I'm presuming) I can't work it out.. |
