In response to your question. Yes we are BB fans, but when we took the mod job we all had different circumstances and points in our life. Some mods have not got as much free time as they did last year or the year before, the whole reason we were offered the job. It was not based on a permanent position, but we still try to do what we can, when we can.

I do feel for Vicky and working so hard, she does an amazing job, and yes I would love to help her out more, but I have a limited access to the internet for the next 3 months. I have said to Mark and James and I have even offered a few suggestions of who would make a great mod on here.

I believe that the essential elements a moderator needs to possess are temperance, intelligence and an indepedent mind, not known for any kind of favouritism within the forum. I think it should be somebody who floats about the place really, and who posts reasonable, well crafted and articulate responses.

I would love people like Shasown, BB_Eye, Bansheewails, Karl or Iceman as mods. Cara, Claudia, BBfan1991 or Jords might do well too. They all do their own thing.

Why all the build up for someone who will probably only come on here to chat their mates and probably wont do sod all about the many problems on the forum.

I would sort out all the problems, I'm always spotting them but can't do anything about it. We'll see what happens though.

Example of the top of my head, there are a number of threads on JJ and Bens argument last night regarding what was said and the context in which is was said, why haven't some of them been merged? Yet there are mods currently posting.

To be fair, if the mods were to delete every bit of ****e posted on this forum, 80% of posts would be deleted.
