I would like to reiterate, I do not base my opinions of Jodie on anything but her behaviour.
I don't know why you're dragging Pete into this, but I think his tears were genuine. Jodie's tears are so she can play the martyr, a role she seems to enjoy.
She can come and see me

I'm comparing Pete with Jodie. I think Jodie's tears are genuine. Not saying Pete's aren't, I'm saying Jodie is being more honest with herself more than Pete is, who has to go and hide his emotions, Jodie needs help, for sure, and she will get that, in the end, she has too. Pete's behaviour has been appalling, and people seem to want us to feel sorry for him. Why? If he can't handle life, he should learn to shut his mouth, in the way Jodie needs too, because by being outspoken, it opens you up to the same back, and neither Jodie, Pete (or Michael) can handle that.

Anyway, I don't know about you, but a new Jodie thread starts every 5 minutes, and i'm getting bored with them. :joker:

Well, I think that Jodie cries (sorry, cried) in front of the others so that they'd feel sorry for her, whereas Pete wanted to cry alone, where people he doesn't even know won't start fussing over him. I don't think it's 'life' he's struggling to cope with, after all BB is nothing like the real world.

I don't feel sorry for Pete, well, no more than I feel sorry for all of them, they must be missing their nearest and dearest.
I like Pete for his wit and sharp tongue, and it was Jodie who started the fur argument.

I don't particularly care if she was upset by Pete's remarks, serve her right, Pete didn't ask for Miss "I belong to PETA, bow to my self-rightousness" to bitch about his coat, did he?

As for getting sick of the Jodie threads, well at least we agree on something, I suppose, though it has been fun having this debate with you, much better than some of the one-word replies on this forum.

Well, I guess every situation is different. Both situations can be construed as not being able to cope, attention seeking (either via the group or public) or anything else really.

I don't feel sorry for any of them, missing their loved ones, 8 days in? Blimey!

Well, I'd have a go at Pete as well. Admittedly I wouldn't have cried and i'd have treated him quite badly for it, but ho hum, that's life.

Yeah, well it's always interesting to debate, be boring if we were all the same.....and no text speak too, you don't know how grateful I am :joker:

Fangz 14-01-2006 12:28 AM

Y, dnt u liek txt spk?

I also think half the newbies are one and the same anyway.

I'm sure most of them are the same person, maybe someone who got banned from the forum, and has decided to get their revenge by starting as many pointless threads as possible, under different identities.

We can all speculate on the reasons people cry but we can never truly know for certain. I think Jodie knows the industry well enough to understand crying for sympathy is prone to backfire spectacularly. So I believe her tears tonight were totally genuine as the realization of being out of the house hit her. And lets be fair there weren't many tears and she did look like she was fighting them back.

There were times in that house when she could have cried buckets by didn't and showed a lot of dignity by not doing so. And it was while she was being rounded on at the table (the night George called her a wicked person) that my opinion of Jodie completely changed because she kept her nerve throughout. And good on her for that.

Fangz 14-01-2006 12:37 AM

I meant the tears in the house Andy, not tonight's, I thought they were genuine.
Anyway, nice to see you back, I look forward to reading your lengthy rants.

Probably, it's just tiresome trying to work out what the decent threads are, and what is another 'Jodie is being bullied' or 'Jodie to win' spam.

Hey, I liked Jodie, but i'm gonna be sick of her before the weekend is out, and I never liked her before she went into the house

If George called me wicked, I think i'd just wet myself with laughter :joker:

Fangz 14-01-2006 12:39 AM

Most of the new Jodie threads are already covered by older ones.
There's only so many times I can post about how much I dislike her before getting sick and tired of it, y'know.:bored:

InTheHood 14-01-2006 12:43 AM

Oh well, more for the rest of us

I don't even go in Pete threads now, I just get

Now Jodie has gone, what do I post about ? :puzzled:

I can talk Traci, and sweet as she is, she don't really say much.......more than Preston, Faria and Maggot put together, but that's not too hard :puzzled:

I've been back ages but thanks for the welcome anyway Fangz.

Fangz 14-01-2006 12:46 AM

Oh I know you've been back, just hadn't got round to chatting to you yet, was too busy getting in heated arguments with Jodie fans and Pete haters.

ally001 14-01-2006 12:48 AM

Big deal she went in on a bit of a downer and moaned that she gets alot of bad press... she started to get over it and give us some entertainment messing about with chantelle. she then got bullied to a shocking extent and was very strong (most people would have cracked up having pretty much the whole house turn on them) and now some of you are saying she needs help. are people not allowed to get down every now and them??

InTheHood 14-01-2006 12:53 AM

Anyway, I thought it was a great interview.

Dang, I wish I had her teeth. Sure she must pay for treatment, but that good?

Fangz 14-01-2006 12:56 AM

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she's had dental work, I think a lot of celebs do, smiling for all those cameras.:spin2:

InTheHood 14-01-2006 12:58 AM

Well, in her business, you have to have whiter than white teeth.

Nice though, and with her 'tan', more noticeable.

Fangz 14-01-2006 01:00 AM

Oh yes, they are nice. I don't like her tan though, turning your skin orange is quite unflatterin, her natural skin tone would probably look much nicer.

Orange :joker:

Anyway, bed for me, it's the Mancunian derby tomorrow lunchtime .

It does get a bit hectic around here

I appreciate you're not a fan of Jodie. Personally before BB I've always thought of her as a brainless slapper who enjoys hogging the media limelight (the last bit might be true for all I know!). But having seen her in the house, hear her speak and deal with situations, my opinion of her has improved considerably.

And I hope people will be a little easier on her now she's out of the house.

Fangz 14-01-2006 01:16 AM

Oh, now that Jodie's out the house, I don't care about her so much. It's her fans (no offence) who start new topics about her, and therefore keep the same old arguments going.
So, now she's gone, who are you backing?

Nobody. I really don't care who wins now. I started off supporting Barrymore but he's really worrying me with his behaviour.

Who are you backing?

Fangz 14-01-2006 01:22 AM

Pete, of course. look at the pretty banners I've got!
I'm worried about Barrymore as well, it might be kinder to vote him out, and end his misery.

Oops sorry. I've stopped looking at banners lately as they give me a headache.

What are you trying to imply? Come out and say it, or U2U me if you're worried you'll get banned.
Or do you just want to make vague comments without really saying anything? Fine by me.

ally001 14-01-2006 01:39 AM

because you seem like a horrible person and he is a horrible person so it figures you'd like him.

Fangz 14-01-2006 01:46 AM

At least you have the guts to say it, I suppose. I'd report you, but you're far too amusing to get banned.

ally001 14-01-2006 02:01 AM

oh i'll probably get banned anyway..... like jodie i'll be slung out for reasons no one is quite sure of....
unlike her though, i won't cry about it.

Fangz 14-01-2006 02:10 AM

No, but I imagine you'll act the martyr. Anyway, I won't be the one to get you in trouble, your posts keep me amused.

I thought exactly the same.

Oh well, she's proved two of us wrong at least

GlitterEyes 14-01-2006 01:45 PM

I think Jodie now has to look back at what happened and atleast take something from the experience. She said in her interview that she hated every part but meeting chantelle which I found rather disapointing. Thought she was friends with Preston? She did atleast have some fun in there. I think she will learn from the experience and realise that she has said she and done different things and will go away and have a good look at herself. However I dont think she is quite ready to admit she needs help and still needs to work on that.
