i am unable to view vids on the pc i am using at the moment - will check when i get home tonight - but i definitely recall him him say to Nikki when she brought up the hurdles issue that she was wrong there werent any - cant remember exact words - he may not have said the word hurdle(s) but definitely stated his belief they dont have them in greyhound racing on LF

When Nikki mentioned hurdles she was talking about horses, John just ignored the whole point and had a little rant at her.

The rant doesnt appear to be edited, im flicking through my life feed .avi now trying to find it to see though.

Once you rewatch it give us your feedback as this commentor is trying to twist it to make john mac look good.

i watch lf online on the offiicial ch4 website, Nikki was talking about hurdles in greyhound racing, as a dog owner herself - she is very into animal welfare issues

I don't see how anyone can say greyhound racing's cruel tbh. I've been to see it many times and the dogs LOVE it, it's great for them!

Im not trying to twist anything, Im just saying what I have just watched, I gave you the option to see it as well, and you mention the implication that it was edited.

Also John is horse racing not greyhound racing, they are two different sports.

Its not working but he said along the lines and i watched the live feed than this 1 minute convo editted.

Flickking through my lf avi can't find the chat. which is annoying, mind you its only 2 hours long so might have been before the avi started.

I don't think she is very into animal welfare issues, at least not with the knowledge, she couldnt argue her point very well, and didnt have much of a leg to stand on in the conversation with John. I would say she is very much into animal welfare beliefs, rather than issues. She may do some charity work, and/or give money, but her knowledge seemed to be limited.

However whether thats right or not, whether its cruel or not, thats not the issue her as such. The issue is did John say it, and from what I have seen the answer is no.

Until something comes to light that he said it, then I will go by what I have seen. I will search the life feed discussions now to see if there is any references there.

Just looked through the livefeed section and there's no reference to this conversation, however Farhad you yourself were in that thread at one point, it would have made this so much easier if you had mentioned it at the time :)

Erm... I have been to "the dogs" before, but saw no hurdles there?? Where exactly do they have greyhound racing with hurdles??? :conf:

And I would have to agree that it isn't cruel, the dogs LOVE running & chasing things, it's what happens to them when they reach a certain age that is cruel...
