It's no coincidence that when the producers cast the role of Hayley Cropper in Coronation Street, they chose a very masculine looking real life woman to play the role of a transsexual. Nadia has not done much to dispel the perceptions people have of male to female transsexuals in that she has always looked like a bloke in drag.

Its interesting to note peoples reactions to the OP's question.

Think about it, surely all those straight males who say no are being transphobic in that they are discriminating against a person simply on the grounds of what gender they were born, not what gender they are now.

As long as they looked like a girl and were not called dave then maybe

well my husband for example said absolutely not, I think it's unfair to label him "transphobic" because of this, I mean like it or not nadia was born a man and to tell someone that no she is now the same as a woman born a woman is incorrect.

As a straight guy the answer has to be an enfatic NO. Nadia is a man. No amount of human butchering of body parts can change the genetical nature of an individual as they were born.........If he wants to think he is a she and dress in drag thats his choice and right........However I don't go along with delusions of others......

Jords 07-09-2010 04:53 PM

Chels 07-09-2010 07:04 PM

There was an article in the paper about Kemal from BB6 talking about his boob job and how he's having his privates changed next year. Towards the end he makes a point of saying he is currently living with his straight boyfriend. lol his boyfriend's so straight he's sleeping with a pre op ******.

MojoNixon 07-09-2010 08:33 PM

Hell no!

Some people think that the gender you're born with is the gender you stay for life no matter whether you get a boob job or cut your bits off ie do a DNA test on Nadia and she will be male

Dont even need to go that far, a pelvic X-ray or a post mortem examination will reveal the original biological gender.

Too bloody many times, especially when their hubby returns home early from his night shift.

BB_Eye 07-09-2010 10:50 PM

Well, my answer would be no. If only for the fact that a constructed penis on a trans man, apart from being tiny, barely looks like a penis. (and yes, I've googled these things )

Stacey. 07-09-2010 10:55 PM

I don't think so?

\PJ/ 07-09-2010 11:01 PM
