Yeah she was ok....but at Cheryl's house both her and katie failed dismally and had that been, shall we say, singers of a different origin in the same category, Cheryl would have dropped them like a stone. Oh I forgot, she did anyway.... :nono:

Yeah, I know Katie was just nervous and couldn't do it so sorta failed. But with Cher it was a bit different tbh. It was out of her control that her throat was bad and she couldn't sing. At least she tried her best.

How this girl doesn't already have a recording contract is beyond me. The only thing I can think of that is holding her back is her confidence. Whether she wins or not, with a voice like that she is guaranteed a recording contract after the show is over. :blush:

Rebumping this because its the live show 2moro, and Rebecca needs the votes to stay in. Yeah she's been great in auditions, but the other two in her category will attract votes because of the hype surrounding them. And remember what happened to Lucie last year? If you don't vote for her, she's gone. Simple. So vote!

ps anyone come up with a slogan yet? Team rebecca or go fergie are too obvious.....

Im a massive fan, but her song choice just didnt do it for me....she needs songs that highlight her style better otherwise she wont last.

I thought she was amazing, and the song really suited her voice

Song was a bit too repetitive and didnt allow her to give much emotion. She did good but she needs to get more confidence and project more. I feel uncomfortable watching nervous performers.

She was good, but I think she now needs a real stand -out performance to separate her from the rest. The other girls are far more assertive, and if she's not careful, Becky will get trampled underfoot or at least pushed into the background. I hear that Leonard, the lad she mentioned on Saturday to the ignorant Dermot, died from a brain tumour this week. Puts things into context a bit.......

Well, she WAS amazing last week.....the class act in the field. Rumour has it on DS that she is singing Put A Spell on You by Nina Simone this week. Get through this week and a 'rock' week is coming up. Interesting to see how she deals with that.....but lets get there first lol!!
