Why does everything always have to turn anti-Cheryl at the slightest mention of her name? It could be Bob the Builder I compared it to, its completely irrelevant i'm just saying they sound a bit similar

still disappointed with it but it's grown on me.

I'm pleased for him that it's doing relatively well; but it doesn't appeal to me. Also I fail to see how he's changed (appearance wise) at all since we last saw him on TV; he looks the exact same to me!?!

#6 in the Official Chart Update today. Bit disappointing, but not bad considering he's had a three year break.

I think its more important how his next single and album do. He needs to sustain success not just get a top 10 hit on the back of one XF appearance.

not to bad for being gone for 2.5 years, but still not as good as i thought it was gunna do. Hopefully the album will sell more.

Really gutted. Disappointing really, I feel sorry for him - after all he's been sidelined for too long and has been terribly mismanaged.

I hope the album does better, I've heard a couple of tracks off of it that are absolutely fantastic [and should've been the lead single], so I hope they're the second single [if there is one]. The tracks are 'Obsession' and 'Must Be The Reason Why'. I'm gonna get the album next week and listen to the rest of the tracks then.

Him winning before Leona didn't help matters, to be fair. Had he won after her he would've obviously received more attention from the label and to be honest I reckon would've been fairly successful. That's not to say he hasn't been so far...six top ten hits and two platinum albums that went to #1 and #2 is not bad at all.

It's a terrible lead single, yes, but there's better on the album.

Solo male pop performers have just not done well generally in the past few years. The market seems to be all about female stars for some reason.

But Shayne is gonna be dropped soon. Hope he made a decent amount of dosh from winning. He needs to do what Stacey is doing and go for TV gigs.

Got the album today, it's actually quite good. Two standout tracks are without a doubt these:





Probably two of his strongest songs yet, IMO. Hope they're singles at some point [that's if more singles will be released].
