Alright, well for example on the tour then, where Cher, Matt and Rebecca will all be, Cher will definitely give a better performance. I've yet to see Rebecca perform actually well, and Matt can when he's give the right song to.

You are judging her on a 3 minute performance, us Cher fans know what she is like behind the scenes and she is not how you describe her at all.

All I know of Matt is that he's been speaking bad about Wagner, and that he's been in trouble in his past or something. I don't actually know what he's like. :/

She's got attitude and personality, if you watch her video diaries and things, she's actually a really sweet girl and doesn't seem the same as when she's on stage.

Prove that anyone else on this thread does not watch as much as you seem to do - you assume that, but you certainly have no idea how much others are viewing back scenes or may be following Cher (or any of the other contestants).

If she didnt have talent she wouldn't have the support of all the judges and wouldn't have made it this far, its pretty much a silly thing to say.

That really proves that she's not 'all that' then really, if after so many weeks of so many songs, she's only cut the mustard on 3 paltry songs. ;)

She's got some talent, better than the average girl on the street I accept.. but this isn't a school disco, this is a national singing competition.

No, I've loved them all. But she people who aren't great fans of her I think would mostly like those songs as she shows in two that she does have a good voice and can actually sing, and the other one most people liked, which was her audition.

I was just choosing the ones that I thought stood out the most, specially for non-Cher fans to hear again, to prove she does have talent.

She's a performer too though, she's got it all really. Rebecca and Matt are the better singers, I just don't get excited for their performances, and I'm not too bothered what they're gonna do next week etc. It's not all about who's the best singer.

You used the example of "how much less it would cost in make-up if Cher wasn't there" so I said it would cost less in food if Mary wasn't there, which is true. It doesn't mean that I suddenly care about her because I bought her name into it.

That's the press though, you can't know for sure a word of what they say is true. Maybe they're just not used to living with people like her, and because they're all under pressure with their practising each week etc. they have a fallout because of silly things.

The judges like Cher though, I know she's good for the show because she makes the headlines and that, but they said from day1 that she's talented and could be a pop star.

I didn't mention starting threads about her, just making comments in general about her everywhere. It seems you care about her more than any of the other contestants.

She is a good performer, that's true. It takes courage to go out there and rap like she does, knowing that its not to everyone's tastes.

Yep, that's what I love about her. She's had probably the hardest time with everything the press say about her out of all of them and she's never let it affect her performances or her confidence.

She'll be safe, they were all on full 'Save Cher' mode tonight. It's Mary, Wagner & Katie that ought to be worrying.

It was dreadful,I agree, it was messy and not even pleasing in any way to listen to either.

Last week would have been a shock to some Cher fans who thought she was safe so she might benefit from the rebound vote, the voting will be much closer this week and we might see one of the so called top 3 in there it's that unpredictable.. look at what happened with JLS and Olly for instance:).

I tend to agree. All the judges were giving it big licks on the "you must pick up the phone to vote".... nothing like touting for that extra wee bit of money coming into the show to line their pockes with.

Katie will go first and no matter who would be up against Cher, her cowell posse will keep her (if she is in the bottom 3) the only one that could cause trouble for her with judge votes would be one direction.

i think the bottom of the votes is automatically eliminated and then 2nd and 3rd from bottom will be in the sing off.

Exactly. Her audition was an exact copy of an Internet video and Stay and Imagine? She murdered two great songs. :nono: Tortured them slowly, pulled out their fingernails and murdered them - oh, and cried every time she couldn't reac a note:joker: Oh......how I laughed.....

The sad thing, I think, is that she probably will have a career because there will always be the tone deaf and the simply selectively deaf who will always opt for (cheap and common) style over substance.
