Whatever????????? What does that mean? And i wouldn't call it sailing through, especially when she was boo'd. She scraped through, just like katie scraped through this far. This whole competition is manipulated, and she'd be gone if it really was up to the public. She may have fans who clearly dont know what talent is, but thats to be expected in a country where Mr Blobby & Bob the Builder storm the charts.:crazy:

I don't know why they don't control the audience better,I was really annoyed last year that Jedward were booed no matter the performance and I haven't liked it with Wagner either this year.

Now though likely, the Katie fans will have to boo someone so they are going to pick on Cher now. She is only 17 and like most on here I would say the booing of Cher was wrong, booing is in effect a rather silly and unnecessary thing to do. I hope Cher will rise above it but she shouldn't have to put up with that, no act should.

The booing is irrelevant, as i said before its not a vote to eliminated she got enough votes from her fans to keep her in therefore she sailed through.

Im getting disgusted by the loud yobbish audience. Why does Cowell allow it when they drown out everything the judges are saying? And now doing the phone in before an audience too...just stupid and ruins it totally.

It would be very easy to instruct the audience to be quiet when prompted by a stage manager with a bloody red card or something. Piss easy.

I think Simon gets some kind of buzz from it tbh.

Wow, Zippy, I would agree with all that you say there. I have to say it is getting worse especially as you say now over the phone ins too. It makes you wonder what kind of people are willing to boo a 17 year old girl though just for getting through to the semi-finals of the competition.

Shes doesn't need to win to still be successful like most of them need it.

Despite the fact its completly disrespectful and ignorant, they are only cheering/booing for a small minority of the viewers, just because they can doesn't mean they should.

Okay, so she may lose the competetion but then you look at people who have also lost but still do better than the winner

JLS have done better than Alexandra
Olly has done better than Joe

You may be right... its just another lucky girl from a council estate!! Good luck to her. Look we can go on forever. My point is she isn't as talented as Matt or Rececca (vocally) and to me thats what this competition should be about. She may do well but thats not down to talent, its down to her manager and everyone else around her that wanna make money off her. Matt & Rebecca are a tad boring, they aren't controversial and lack character i guess, but they can sing!!! Cher cannot!! I give credit where cedit is due, i'm sorry but she has no credibility. She's a wannabe ghetto gaga.

I think all things considered she is more talented than Rebecca or Matt. Vocals are only half the equation and she isn't even that far behind in that department, if at all. But she has the star presence and personality that the other two just don't have.

She may not win because she will irritate as much as amuse and her enemies are many.

This weekend she was beyond weird and looked like some surreal Victorian doll come to life. Nevertheless it was riveting stuff and her performance was great.

Wow big deal:joker:, she got the VOTES yesterday so the chavvy audience (which is probably made up of One Direction fans screaming) can do one:p.

Cher doesn't need to win the show.. she's guaranteed a record deal and so will Rebecca and One Direction because it looks likely Matt will win.
