Lovely.

I like your trees and your house looks nice from what I can see.

Looks very cosy. :)

Aww thanks Thomas. I like the colours on your tree.... red, green and gold - I think it looks very festive! I like your earlier pics of the lights around the house - it's lovely iin the dark eh!

The 'gaundy' tree is in the conservatory - I really should buy a large real tree as it would look fab in there (it's quite a big conservatory) - but the house is cosy - welcoming. I love coming home to it.

I'm grinning here at your tree - with the tin of Roses underneath. I bought 2 tins yesteday and spent ages making up little 'parcels' with a half a dozen chocs in each and bind them up with gold ribbon.

A wee Christmas 'minder' for people that I see intermittently (and like) but not close enough to actually buy a gift for. Like these....

In a short while, I'm nipping up to work to put get the tree up in there, with all the staff's presents underneath - fibre optic one so it's not too messy - will be a nice surprise for them all coming into work tomorrow morning. :)

Miss Ivy Balls 12-12-2010 05:28 AM

Awwww. Those little goody bags looks nice.

As daft as it sounds, there's nothing in that roses tin.

I don't actually know why it's there. I think it might have had decorations in for when my mum decorated the tree. :)

PMSL... you're making me laugh here. Far from it sounding daft.... I keep them for Christmas baubles, decorations, Christmas gift tags, ribbons n bows n things!

It's definately a 'mum' type thing I think !! :spin:

Some poor sod is going to come into your house, see the tin and think, "Ooohhh... I fancy a choccie...." They're in for a surprise!

I really want a fibre optic tree for my house. I saw someone else's through their window on the bus. It was a full size tree aswell and it looked really nice.

Yeah they're nice.

We've got a small one.

We also have a santa clause that makes noise if you clap. It has fibre optic bits on it. :)

Lol thats quite cool. I want a big one cause then there is no faffing around with all the lights.

Pyramid* 12-12-2010 05:17 PM

I bought a 5ft fibre optic one for the office and put it up this morning.... pics not so great - with the moving light -the shutter stayed open longer and I've not got the steadiest hand !!

This one actually looks gorgeous at 'night' (the pics really don't do it justice at all - honestly, it looks brilliant). Was only £25 - bargain! From one of the B&M Stores.

Josy - if your ebay order doesn't show up soon - and the florists aren't being helpful - drop me a pm. One of my staff lives in Airdrie, if you are really stuck, I have quite a few metres of it left - she would drop it off for you if you really need. Whether it would be enough for you or not I've not idea - but it's an option?

-likes jordan's living room-

we haven't really done much since it's just a uni flat and we're not going to be here for Christmas, so we've bought a tiny tree and done up some fairy lights.

WILD.
