Perhaps her 'initial' fans realised this and backed away from supporting her. Who knows.

Final Three? Don't know..... it could happen. Time will tell.

I think she got more fans when she proved she could sing, and she lost some aswell along the way. Probably the case with most of the acts anyway.

Why would you think she lost fans along the way? Out of interest? It would seem contradictory to assume that given that you have tied it up with the preceeding 'when she proved she could sing'. Surely if that was the case, her fans would be supporting her, not wandering off.

Or do you think the mostly teenage fans are fickle ?

she lost fans because of the press :L

I agree. It was one of the very few songs that she was actually good at. her problem is that she wants to sing vocals that simply do not suit her, that she cannot carry off vocally.

Plus, she somehow thinks that by rapping, she's reinvented the English music scene. Silly little girl.

^ she lost fans because she started to get smug and fuken up herself like her mentor Chavryl

I know lots of people don't like her "attitude" or whatever, also the **** in the papers about her don't exactly help. Some people believe everything they read, so no wonder she's lost fans.

The press don't have anything to do with switching people's allegiances. That's an individual decision, if you like someone's music, if you like the way they sing and their ability to be an all round entertainer with good attitude - that should come across in the person's performance.

I suspect she lost fans, simply because many did start to realise that her cocky and arrogant persona, was in fact, Cher. Not an act, but that that is exactly how she is in real life.

I've never seen a girl who has such faceful of sneers and curled snarling lips in my life. For a girl who is (as she has said), "Living the dream", she's got a face on her like she's chewing wasps most of the time.

Well Cher can be your exception then :')

I'm sure she won't win aswell :( But yeah, she'll do good after the show, I know she'd be like so happy to get 3rd though, she's expecting to go next.

And some people take what they read in the papers with a huge dose of salt, and are happy to rely and judge her when she in the environment in which she wants to be successful - up on stage, performing and being critiqued. That's her big downfall. That's when we see how she reacts 'live'. She can't even tone it down for a few minutes with sneering.

I honestly do think that's why she's lost fans along the way, I really do.

If she had the ambition and focus to continue singing in the style she wanted to: fine - but drop the attitude - because a big part of being popular is having the likeability factors, and she doesn't have that.

Yep I know lots of people don't like her "attitude" but I think it's better to have something there at least, unlike Rebecca.

And with Cher, I think it's like her little stage act thing, if you see her video diaries you see she's not quite as confident as she comes across on stage. Also you can tell that when she's been in the bottom two, she gets upset and ends up crying, she's not all she's made out to be, people have misjudged her based on what's been said about her.

Oh I think the tears and upset come more from the spoiled little girl syndrome, tantrum like in not getting her own way - and / or the fact that tears and upset are quite natural reactions from anyone who feels let down by their fans, who may be the next one to be booted off the show. So that simply doesn't wash with me.

She's cocky as hell off stage too. She's had hissy fits about outfits, song choices, the way her make up is done. Simon can say what he likes and lie through his teeth: but I honestly can't say that I have heard one good word about her from anyone in the 'background' / behind the scenes.

Have you? Serious question.

Angus 11-12-2010 02:46 PM

Fed up hearing about all her so called fans who can't be arsed to pick up the phone and spend a few pence voting - fans that don't vote, aren't fans at all, just poseurs jumping on the bandwagon.

Mr XcX 11-12-2010 03:00 PM

FAKE Cher will be out tonight.
