The Prodigy are over rated, people obviously prefer them because they've been around longer which is a sh*te reason to love someone just because they made music first.

You still don't get it. Please get it. Please. And stop this torture. Whatever about what singles you know and what singles you don't - that's up to you to tell the truth about or make up no doubt - but you point blank said 'I gots my singles list from Wikipedia lol'. No. You took part of the Wikipedia single list.

I hate how the second someone has a different opinion on a band than some members on here everyone is like 'WTF!' and go nuts over it.

Shaun 24-01-2011 08:40 PM

"I prefer Pendulum to the Prodigy" is an opinion.
"Pendulum are better than The Prodigy, they only had one good song." is an abortion.

No it's just the fact that you have no clue what you are talking about. I'm not saying The Prodigy are the greatest thing since sliced bread but you have probably never listened to a Prodigy album. You then base your arguments on bizarre things like 'Pendulum are getting better with each single' [despite most of anyone on Planet Earth disagreeing and despite most of Pendulum's original fanbase having migrated a long time ago] and 'people only prefer The Prodigy because they have been around longer'.

... what do you expect? Nobody went that crazy until you started making those lurid arguments. They just all happened to post their thoughts on who was the best ... considering you were the one who felt the need to compare them in your opening post.

Et Voila.

I feel like we're all having a "Leona Lewis vs The Beatles" type of argument....again.

Stu 24-01-2011 08:46 PM

Go and see and Pendulum live. Go on. It's a light show accompanied by a bit of hyperactive music and an MC who will make the concert about as enjoyable as watching your parents passionately fuck.

Boom pft, boom pft. Boom pft, boom pft.
Boom pft, boom pft. Boom pft, boom pft.
Boom pft, boom pft. Boom pft, boom pft.
Boom pft, boom pft. Boom pft, boom pft.

Go on, hum it out loud. It's Pendulums greatest hits.

Stephanie 24-01-2011 08:48 PM

you can't even compare pendulum to the prodigy.

Tom4784 24-01-2011 08:48 PM

.....Oh dear....Patrick I......

*shakes head disapprovingly and leaves topic*

You and Patrick can. The rest of us grown ups disagree.

make a thread for prodigy appreciation if you wish to discuss them non stop instead of reitterating their "greatness" in this thread

this, um, isn't a Pendulum appreciation thread.
[and on a slightly related note, appreciation threads are a bag of piss. If you can't handle critics on a forum you're a bit ****ed up when it comes to the real world]
