Bit daft having us as 2nd fave. not a chance. We dont have any countries voting for us purely for which country we are (like portugal/greece etc)

Can't see that our standing will have improved much with the other Countries again this year.

It was the first round qualifiers, not all countries make it into the final. The second qualifiers are tonight. :)

Yes the first round is tonight on BBC3 and the 2nd round is Thursday on BBC3 then the final is on BBC1 on Saturday.

Hope Jedward get through just so I can see them fall flat on their arse in front of the world at Eurovision. Ireland suck at this now so it makes more sense to root for a hideously bad score than end up on some boring place halfway up the table.
