I was sick earlier today :suspect:

It seems to come on really quick for me, hardly any build up or warning

Smithy 09-07-2011 05:22 PM

I hate it, you get that build up of having far too much saliva

LaLaLand 09-07-2011 06:25 PM

I'm petrified of vomiting, seriously. I'm lucky I hardly ever do it but last time (about 4 years ago) was horrendous. I suffer with general severe panic attacks on a daily basis and had some sort of stomach virus and I threw up WHILST having a panic attack, so I was suffocating then puked and carried of suffocating during. Was awwwwful!

I remember one time though I had that winter bug and I threw up well over 20 times in 24 hours, and I mean full on projectile vomit not just a little trickle!

Worst human function evahhhhhhhh!

When you drink strongbow it comes up tasting the same has it went down:devil:
The best thing is avoid when adding colours to drinks ie, blackcurrant, orange and coke they have a nasty tendency of coming back to haunt you on a night out on the lash.:joker:

I ate too much subway on Tuesday and I got sick in a bin on Henrys Street and beside the spire in O'Connells street in Dublin.Thats the equivalent of getting sick on the Big Ben and in a bin on Oxford street.

What I hate is the way you vomit either water or nothing at all. It looks like I'm having an epileptic fit when I vomit. But, yes, the build-up is very painful, indeed. I try to suppress my puke for as long as possible, but there comes a time where you think to yourself, "It's time."

Vomiting and the feeling you get 60-30 minutes before you vomit is absolutely horrid. One of the worst feelings ever. Especially when your body continues to try to vomit but there is nothing left in your system and it's extremely painful.

Precisely. I hate that. Your body still wants to vomit, but there's nothing left to vomit. Extremely painful and annoying. I always look like I'm having an epileptic fit when I vomit, especially when there's nothing to vomit.

Vomiting stuff up is very satisfying as you feel like you're getting rid of the problem. Same if it comes out the other end.

Its when nothing comes up thats horrible because you're not ridding yourself of whats causing the upset.

Hate it with a passion. Being sick, feeling sick. Last Xmas I was sick and nearly choked. Been petrified ever since

No idea :( Haven't eaten much today or tonight for that matter - so it's not food. Woke up with the, "Oh oh....... mouth over-salivating.... mad rush to the bathroom".

Every time I lie down, the nausea waves over again. Why oh why on a school night.

It's a bad day when you get jealous of the cat.... lying sound asleep, splayed out & snoring her head off. Think it's time I woke her up as well, just to annoy her and amuse myself!!

In fact.... better idea - go use her as a wee furry hot water bottle. Sounds a plan.

Night Kerry..... might see you again in a short while!

Think of water. Sounds crazy. But think of sipping cool water and being laid listening to a nice sea. It's calming

Night :)

Night :)

Swithering whether to have a hot choc. Thought of it reappearing though.....

I'll try the water.... have a little pond out the back, might put the hose over it on a trickle... see if the noise helps soothe. In fact, Kerry...that's a good idea.

I'll say night and go try! Thanks! :)
