Hi Lads & Lassess
Im from Galway. What ye thinkin of the show this week:elephant: |

We all know Clonmelians have the best accent ever. Nice and farmerish. |
I have no idea who the Clonmelians are... but I'll nod and smile!
They sound like a cross between chamelions and some extra-terrestrial race you'd find in Dr Who! Anyway, I'm from Peterborough which is, to say the least, quite a way from Ireland! I've never been, but will be going in the autumn, although not quite sure where yet! On the case of accents, Peterborough has a distinctly dull, "I could come from anywhere in England" accent, of which our only trademark seems to be the tendency to drop our "t"'s, which drives me insane if anyone does it! I think I'd rather have an accent, be it a bit ugly, so you can say "Oh, you're from ___" rather than just being the male version of a linguisticly plain Jane! Wow.... what a load of waffle I can create! I'm impressed, there's no need to revise for that English exam now... ! |
Clonmelians, surprisingly, are inhabitants of the town of Clonmel! We rock muchly.. well me and psylocke do anyway.
Let me know where you're heading to, Tom. I can tell you whether to steer clear of any places. |
I'm from Wicklow but it is like 20 minutes away from Dublin so I usuallly say Dublin. I have no accent at all.
|
Snap, Laura! Hehe! :spin2:
I'll let you know once it's booked Lance! Things are a bit in limbo at the moment, as Dad might be switching jobs, and I've heard them saying they don't want to "tempt fate" Lol! I can return the favour if anybody decides to travel down to deepest darkest Peterborough... God help you if you do... it's more a case of which ghost town to visit next!!:spin: |

Hmm.. a trip to Peterborough sounds rather interesting. Is it worth saving up for? |
If you want to meet people with webbed feet, then by all means, go for it!
It's scary, a town 15 mins away from here has statisticly highest rate of incest in the UK! I hasten to add that I neither have webbed feet, nor live in the above town! |

LOL.. how cool!
Whatever happened to Lucia this year. I thought she was rather good but Bruised Not Broken went down like a lead balloon.:puzzled: I think they fecked her around about after the show. They took aaaaaaages to release it. Hope it's not back next year. It's such a bad show. |

I still think Donna and Joe were the worst thing I've seen since Michelle McWhatsHerFace. She was a lebian, I'm pretty sure he was gay. They were both ugly and ginger. And neither could sing for nuts. Yet, we still voted them to win. |
