I see the same day digiguide adds listings for july 30th proving me correct the thread magically looses the date you added.

See here: http://digiguide.tv/programme-detail...riends/Sitcom/

We can clearly see you edited your post though so you can not hide that, its listed at the bottom of your OP. So you where premature opening this thread.

Even your original link you had add has more episodes added to it now, Like I knew it would because at the time of you arguing digiguide had no listings past the 30th of e4.

However it does now

Epic fail Michael. I knew I was correct and have now just proven it.

Nope I am not, my post was 100% factual. And people only have to look at this thread to see that.

So you lose. You proudly announced e4 will stop showing friends from july 29th, lots of member have sean this thread before you edited it, you then argue with me your correct and when its 100% proven your not you call me crazy ha. What A joke.

In fact all e4 shows if you look don't have any listings on that page when you click into them past july 30

So as I say how do you KNOW WHEN LISTINGS ARE ADDED FOR THAT DATE MORE FRIENDS EPISODES WILL NOT BE LISTED

I can post loads of other example of e4 shows if you like and none of them have listings past july 30th so on this occasion you are wrong

yes i do like post more example please that would be a very good thing to do

Yeah right oh. You post that once they have added this listings for july 30th which proved I was correct and your date for friends ending was wrong.

You only post that now you know there is extra listings just today been added. Now who's the crazy one.

You just hate been wrong. You proudly announces to the forum that e4 ends friends on july 29th which now has proven to be wrong. You then ask me to provide the links after they have been changed which is a very childish attempt to make me look bad which you have failed on.

Instead of attempting to make me look bad you owe an apology to this great forum for bringing bogus info to this forum.

michael21 08-08-2011 07:04 PM

the e4 announce just said

that this will be the last time this episodes of friends will air on e4

so it must be getting to the end of friends in e4

daniel2015 08-08-2011 08:47 PM

Good. Its about time. Friends is very stale now. Channel 4 showed it way way too much. Just can't believe comedy central picked up the uk rights for friends after channel 4 finishes showing it but they have.

Its very good news that we get rid of this very stale show off free telly that has been repeated over and over again.

And for anybody who still wants to watch the show comedy centrals rights start in october: http://www.comedycentral.co.uk/news/...-gets-friends/

Saph 09-08-2011 10:31 AM

Friends - E4 Finale & Comedy Central Debut

http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/news/b...030759.article

Quote:

E4 will attempt to be “creative and competitive” at 8pm by playing films, US comedies and UK-originated comedy when it loses Friends in September.

The licence for the American sitcom expires on 30 September, opening a huge gap of 1,043 hours annually in the channel’s schedule.

E4 channel manager Paul Mortimer explained: “The most obvious difference without Friends will be at 8pm, where we will be doing different things on different nights. It is a sign of E4’s maturity that we are able to be a bit more creative and competitive.”

He added: “We can play movies from 8pm to 10pm because some of our titles are 12 certificates and feel a bit young for 9pm, and we can also ramp up our US comedies.” US acquisition Happy Endings is due to start on E4 in September.

Existing programmes, such as The Big Bang Theory, which E4 has on an exclusive life-of-series basis, “will be working a lot harder” to anchor two nights of comedy on the channel, starting at 8pm. The Inbetweeners will also feature in the line-up.

Beyond comedy, E4 will continue to invest in non-scripted content such as Made In Chelsea, which is coming back in September for an extended 10-part run featuring Sir Philip Green’s daughter Chloe Green, and Tool Academy.

Ten brand new series are lined up for E4, most of which are due to start this year, Mortimer said. The programmes will include “lighter, pre-watershed formats, such as a dating show”, and a new series of PhoneShop, The Midnight Beast and Chris Addison’s Show And Tell.

Mortimer added: “Broadly speaking, Friends has played in the 5pm and 8pm slots for years. All that money coming back in [from not renewing the licence] means that there is a degree of richness and a bit more ambition, and we are rapidly developing ideas.

michael21 11-08-2011 10:32 AM

so now we no that Friends end on September 30th :dance::dance:

cub 11-08-2011 10:56 AM

Well, the licence for the American sitcom expires on 30 September. It could end anytime before.

It is. That's the only reason why E4/C4 are stopping it - they lost the contract for more.

arista 21-08-2011 04:24 PM

Like Right Now
on SkyHD and VirginHD
on E4HD its StarTrek V in HD.

This is what ITV2HD ITV3HD and ITV4HD
all on SkyHD
have being showing many more films all in HD.

So E4HD is making use of the massive amount of HD Films
so fill big slots and Look Great.

Of Course SkyMoviesHD & MGMHD is best as once a Film is on
No Ads at all - Utter Bliss.

Comedy Central reveals Friends plans

http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/news/b...031243.article

Quote:

Comedy Central will strip the entire series of Friends from its first episode as it “takes ownership” of the show following its departure from Channel 4.

The US sitcom will play a key part in the multichannel broadcaster’s schedule from early October as it consecutively airs every episode from the ten seasons in primetime before showing daytime repeats.

The exact peak TX time is being kept a closely guarded secret as Comedy Central bids to steal a march on its rivals.

Comedy Central staff have also selected their favourite 50 episodes which will also be broadcast in October to help “cement” the show’s new location to viewers. A marketing campaign is also being prepared.

Chris Collie, Comedy Central’s director of programming and planning, said the show would be used to drive an inherited audience to the channel’s autumn slate including its first scripted comedy, Big Talk Productions’ Threesome.

“The ambition is to attract new viewers and migrate fans of the show from E4 to Comedy Central,” said Collie. “Friends is one of the most popular sitcoms and will be a key part of our schedule.”

Collie added that repeats remained popular with existing fans while the show continued to gain a new audience.

To make way for Friends Collie plans to reduce the volume of series including Raymond and King of Queens.
If you like friends this is big news to you

michael21 26-08-2011 04:52 PM

That it no more friends on channel 4 :dance::dance:
