There really should be laws against some of them because no normal person is allowed to harrass people like that.

But where would "celebs" be without them? Yes I 100% agree with the invasion of privacy thing. But it's a two way street with so many of them. Kerry, Amy, Katie, Peter - they'd be nowhere and if you want to delve further and further where would TV be? Without us knowing what "celebs" are doing?

So yes, it makes me sick to my stomach asto what they do. But I see a bigger picture too

but they can get what they want from each other without the nasty harrassment. Indeed, PR companies and the tabloids are in close contact and set up numerous stories.

But there's a line and nobody deserves to be stalked and harrassed. Thats criminal behaviour. Nobody signs up for that.

Plus, just because your job is acting or modelling it does not make you fair game. Not all celebs seek attention from the tabloids. They just do their job and go home. Also, sports stars are famous as a result of being great at what they do. Again, they dont always seek any fame or tabloid attention so shouldnt be fair game either.

But the likes of Andre who use the media shamelessly are certainly fair game. But theyre a minority. Classy stars dont need or want tabloid attention.

If only one of the house mates would draw a nipple on each of his ab's, he'd look like a pregnant sow.

Livia 22-08-2011 10:14 AM

I thought his long, looooooooooooooong self-promoting speech in the garden, about how well he's done - his fast cars and yachts, how he's taken some of the most iconic images of our time and is going to be remembered forever - coupled with his pride over the abs implants into his grossly overweight body, he's shown himself to be ridiculous and puddle-shallow.

Also, he looks like the product of a drunken one-night stand between Mel Smith and a cockatiel. With fake abs in his fat belly.

His conversation about himself was made into a monologue by editing and ended up really not flowing and really telling us much. Very inappropriately they put Barber's Adagio music in the background even though he wasn't telling a tragic story. The editing was at odds with the flowing music anyway.

Yes, I understand the concept of editing. But he actually said all that stuff or they couldn't have edited it together. It wasn't so much that it was a continuous monologue, it is that he said all that stuff about himself in the first place. Embarrassing.

The only crime in BB is to be boring & Darryn isn't boring.

Marc 22-08-2011 10:46 AM

Annoying. He likes to talk about himself doesn't he?

Paul BB2 anybody? :joker:

Blog Rider 22-08-2011 11:08 AM

Hmmm it could be the editing, He might be Channel 5 least favourite so his worst moments are going on screen :)

What does he do? He is just a paprazzi isn't he?
Er no not "just", he is reputedly a multi-millionaire and was a dragon on the Australian version of Dragon's Den.

He runs a firm which employs paparazzi but seems to be a property developer and a number of other things too.

CaudleHalbard 22-08-2011 11:11 AM

Oh, forgot to say................ I think he's vile! :D

MaratSafinForever 22-08-2011 11:30 AM

He's a *** ****, in my opinion.

Not to mention he was photographer of the year 1992 :D

I didn't realise he was so big actually, thought he was just a Perez Hilton wannabe running a small-time paparrazi firm

Gillian-73 22-08-2011 11:40 AM

Thought i was gonna hate him but i actually like him sometimes, others he can make me cringe like with his abs for example but for someone to have them put in proves he's got a fantastic sense of humour lol he's also straight to the point big brother needs housemates like that.
