Everyone has a choice, so just let them have a choice. If governments banned smoking it would cause far more problems than it would solve anyway.

Stu 28-08-2011 03:59 PM

The smoking ban doesn't bother me a bit. Popping outside has become part of the ritual now. Many a great idea has been invented and many great music discussions are to be had outside the door of the pub.

Boredrom always makes me do it - I imagine if I was in the house I'd leave with cancer or something  just if I got bored alot.

Also even if I didn't smoke, I'd take it up just to set with Tara Reid.

Ah. Pulling a Freddie.

Cancer won't necessarily kill you :

How common is cancer?

There are more than 200 types of cancer, each with different causes, symptoms and treatments.

There were around 309,500 new cases of cancer diagnosed in 2008 in the UK.
Every two minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer in the UK.

More than 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.
Breast, lung, bowel and prostate cancers together account for over half of all new cancers each year.

Cancer incidence rates have risen by 16% in males and by 34% in females since the late 1970s.

There have been increases in the incidence of many potentially avoidable cancers such as kidney, malignant melanoma (skin), oral and uterine (womb) cancers.

Cancer is the number one fear for the British public, feared ahead of debt, knife crime, Alzheimer’s disease and losing a job.

If they were A-listers I may be concerned about their health. Possibly.

but z-listers are ten a penny so they can carry on puffing away for all I care. And smokers corner is tradionally where all the hot gossip takes place on BB.

rusticgal 28-08-2011 08:45 PM

Smokers are the most sociable people I know... I am not condoning it but we make our own decisions in life and that is their right.

MaratSafinForever 28-08-2011 09:08 PM

It's absolutely stinking.

I'd probably struggle to fit into the house dynamics because I physically couldn't sit out there whilst people were smoking around me. I absolutely hate the smell.

MaratSafinForever 28-08-2011 09:15 PM

Listening to them smoking is irritating the hell out of me, because they have microphones on you can hear them huffing and puffing. Fuuuuuggggg
