£270,000 - I hope there is a reason. I like nice round numbers - £250,000 would be about right for BB (although with the way the economy has gone, the £100,000 jackpot seems a better prize than it was a couple of years ago now).

There is a reason. My bad maths :bawling: I was gonna do 250k but couldn't work out what that is divided over 9 weeks lol so it went to 270k instead. Who knows what the winner could actually walk away with though???

I'm surprised you's like the grungy ones more than the clouds. I suppose I just prefer colour lol

Before the launch, 5 would announce a Big Brothers Big Takeover campaign, which would see part of 5s branding altered slightly to incorporate the Big Brother logo. Bumpers and stings would the main things adapted. I'll expand on the Big Takeover programming material later :)

These are the C5 stings. They've been changed from red to pink and obv the BB logo has been added.

Same actually! I spent ages trying to get them to sit right, kinda like a blanket of clouds on the ground (but failed obviously lol) I really like the idea and how it looks in my head. Just can't execute it right :(

Here's a new promotional platform for BB- Living billboards. This concept would involve one travelling 'Pod,' capable of holding several people at any time, doing a circuit around the UK/ROI for several days at a time. The stops would include London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast & Dublin. The Pod is fitted with 3 beds, an oven, sink, toilet and small Diary Room, which also serves as an entrance or exit to the structure. The Pod itself would be propped up on large legs, and positioned in a prominent area of the city in question. In order to spend time in the Pod, application forms will be filled in online and potential 'housemates' must be prepared to spend at least 24 hours inside. Alongside normal applicants, at times celebrity guests will inhabit the Pod, to further boost the profile and create attention for Big Brother 13. The Pod will be watched 24/7 and guarded at all times.

As a billboard as it first appears that design looks brilliant, but as a living pod - it wouldn't work as pre-season promotion IMO, and would be so costly it wouldn't be worth it. It might get a bit of coverage at first and something in the local press, while folk here might keep an eye on it - but it wouldn't have the impact you're after IMO.


However, as a one-off launch or pre-launch twist it would be brilliant and has been done to some extent in Italy (with a pop-up bubble in a city centre) and Brazil (a Glass House in a shopping centre), with 4 or so HMs moving in and them competing for a place in the house, either through a vote or through a White Room "last one standing" style competition.

While I agree with Brekkie its a great idea

Brekkie- Fair point regarding the expenses, although even considering that I personally would at least set it up in one prominent location for a week or so, maybe Trafalgar Square or somewhere else that's busy in London. That would rule out any expensive transportation costs. It would be nice to use it as a twist, but I just can't think of anything gripping enough yet :(
