This is so unfair on the others.

Whoever goes back in will be straight on the tour, when they might have been voted out beforehand if they ad been in the comp to start with

They have basically been fast tracked to halfway through the show.

They may as well just give Amelia the spot and save everybody the effort.

I agree with Vicky, it's unfair that they are now on tour

Amazing!!!!

Kelly best not get to mentor Amelia though :idc:

Adamw92 10-11-2011 01:05 PM

They held a poll on This Morning then revealed the results at the end, Amelia had over 50% to return! :amazed:

A four-way phone vote for the act to replace Frankie Cocozza on The X Factor will open this afternoon (November 10).

At a London press conference, it was confirmed that the poll between Amelia Lily, Jonjo Kerr, James Michael and 2 Shoes will open at 4pm today and close during Saturday's live show.

22p from each phone vote will be donated to Help For Heroes, which works to provide better facilities for wounded British servicemen and women.

Head judge Gary Barlow said: "I don't think any of us here are guilt-free with Frankie... I'm always on the phone. I just hope he's okay.

"I can't follow Frankie around all week... we've all encouraged Frankie to be bad... I do feel sorry."

Cocozza was axed from the show on Tuesday amid rumours that he had bragged about taking cocaine.

Barlow added: "Frankie was silly. But I'm a parent. He's got to live with this forever, so I feel guilty about that."

Tulisa Contostavlos defended Barlow, explaining that Cocozza's mentor was "not a babysitter".

During the conference, Barlow explained that legal reasons prevent the panel from revealing which 'golden rule' Cocozza had broken, while Walsh explained that it was a "lack of professionalism".

Walsh, who had frequently been critical of Cocozza's live show performances, added: "It's a pity. I loved Frankie's first audition."

Judge Kelly Rowland, who eliminated Lily in week one, said: "It's really good that these acts get a second go... we have bonded with these acts."

Of the suggestion that the wildcards have an "unfair" advantage over the acts already in the competition, Rowland added: "Everyone has to come out swinging. It should bring everyone up a notch."

If anything its unfair on the contestant that returns.
They haven't had the chance to keep gaining fans & will have lost fans. Also the contestant hasn't had the experience or anything.

Its more unfair on the risk(and those who have recently left) than anyone.

They narrowly missed out on the tour. And now someone who was kicked out before them is guaranteed a place :bored:

Well theese contestants weren't voted by the public. The public can't complain they didn't lose their money, The Risk were voted out fairly. Also Amelia had a great chance of winning and it's unfair she was voted out by one persons opinion, when she could of stayed and built up her fanbase and won. Now she returns with only half of her fanbase, & Will most likely come 6th.

MeMyselfAndI 10-11-2011 04:08 PM

Anyway, why are you complaining, Atleast someone with talent is going to replace Frankie, It's better her (Or James) than someone who can't sing.

yeah thats a good point would rather watch amelia then frankie on saturday so its not too bad if she comes back. Would rather have her on tour then frankie. I just hope johnny and the risk get put on the tour too

Well Johnny is techincally 9th now so he will make the tour like Aiden did last year, but The Risk wont unless the producers change there minds.

MusicXian 10-11-2011 08:10 PM

They have addeda new option to the voting poll

None of the above - 09016161305

Strictly Jake 10-11-2011 08:35 PM

yeah but if they are going to have nine on the tour then the risk can make it as frankie wont make it on the tour now. Amelia will. I hope johnny and the risk are on tour anyway
