I do not View Michael as a American

I view him as a Good Person who happens to be American.

If Michael goes on Wednesday, that is if he doesn't walk first because he is being driven mad by the bitch, I can't see them ever getting any decent actual Celebs on CBB again after this farcical collection of nomarks.

of course. its a miracle they even got him. that was just by chance as hes a mate of vinnie jones. he came in blind, open minded to an experience. but all hes had is a drunk abusive woman bully him for no reason and the producers did nowt. we will never see a movie star in there again, just more plastic bo^bs and z listers

good for you...others especially those who abuse him see him as an american....I presume youve heard the brits on tv telling everyone that all 330 million americans have no sense of humour for the last 30 years and other such complete and utter nonsense.

anti americani generalizations strikes again....strange how such an unfunny nation produced.....simpsons...seinfeld....bilko...cheers ....friends....mash...larry sanders...happy days...roseanne...southpark...robin williams...oliver hardy...ben stiller....richard pryor....bill hicks....larry david..bill cosby,,,chris rock....buster keaten....will ferrell..eddie murphy...not to mention the vast majority of worlds most popular comedies for the past 50 years

even the great american actors like madsen , pacino depp brando eastwood all have fantastic dry wry humour thats partly why theyre the best and way better than our very own movie stars

Less of your insults. It's not sexism - not in my eyes. Beat your own sexist drum, but don't beat mine on my behalf thanks very much.

Denise made a prat out of herself on that night when she told him to **** off and started crying drunkenly. I don't think it's ever been properly resolved since then.

Ah, that'll be when she accused HIM of being aggressive with her...... she's completely lost the plot. I hope when she comes out of the house that she sits down in complete sobriety and watches these clips: hopefully it will finally sink in what a vile, aggressive, agitator she really is. That will give her a big clue as to why Michael is not interested in her, or anything she has to say.

Denise is now a legendary housemate, whether you like her or not

Strike "legendary" and substitute "infamous" and yeah she is, for all the wrong reasons, the sad cow.

Ammi 16-01-2012 09:22 AM

Tbf she did provide a hilarious moment last night...one way or another most of the female HM's have made a lot of money out of showing their t*ts....no amount of money in the world would make Michael look at hers

crocs 16-01-2012 07:46 PM

I think Denise thinks that it's all just their kind of humour and I thought so too until recently. The other night Michael was still stroking her hair when she talked strange things as usual but yesterday something had changed. But Denise cannot read him at all and therefore she doesn't get that he wants her out from his face.

Now, this is a bit off topic, but suits to Denise and Michael's relationship as well. I was surprised how little these celebrities know how to interact with each other (or at least that's how it's portrayed). It feels that at times when two people are talking with each other, it's more like they're talking at each other. Like they havin separate conversations as neither actually continues the other person's thoughts. It's weird and it made me think that do celebrities just talk by themselves and no-one is usually allowed to cut in and express their views. Soliloquays and celebrities seem to go together. :/

Replace 'legendary' housemate with 'most cringeworthy' housemate, and you'll be close. :D

its not just celebrities..the basic art of conversation was lost years ago...you know one persons talks the other one listens then they talk and so it goes...

michael is a throwback to proper communicators where he actually listens, he actually asks the real questions when he gets the right moment one to one, he then responds and on we go, he also doesnt talk for the sake of it, he said 1 word in one episode and stole the whole show, when looking at natasha in heels , she said are you feeling horny michael, YESSS he bellowed. he used 4 words to sum up denise i think it was "pretentios, incomprehensible, drunken bitch :xyxwave:amen...then later abominable.....5 words....she spouted 10001 and said nothing all day...empty vessels make most noice........some people have got the x factor some havent

but he is very chatty when hes comfortable with the environment. once what he says gets deliberately taken the wrong way as it was with the 3 witches, hes out of the room. very smart....the 3 witches play dumb and are ignorant sly and manipulative as heck. dreadful dreadful self centred people. theyve lost all subtley and nuisance. nichola is just a plank and natalie is playing dumb.

It's a real shame that there is no one in there that he can just sit down and chill with and have a laugh. They always pick too many predictable and uninteresting desperate fame hungry types and not enough Michael Madsens, Terry Christians, Dirk Benedicts, George Galloways etc etc.

I know Coolio was loud and in your face sometimes, but him Tommy Sheridan and Terry Christian used to chill and talk for hours on live feed. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea, but it makes the show more interesting and is a nice alternative to the predictable glamour model/soap actors/actresses/ex boy band/girl band types with nothing interesting to say imo.

I am not saying they shouldn't put idiots like Kinky Kirk in or nasty b*tches, boring glamour model types or the safe floaters or the followers etc., but I just like it to be more even rather than the lone odd man out/fish out of water type which is what has happened with Michael, although I do still find him the most entertaining in there.

I guess it's just a lot harder to persuade the more interesting celebs/has been celebs to go in there and the Kinky Kirk types are much, much cheaper.

Its getting pretty childish IMO ,Hm8s seem to blame Michael as he got so many noms for the way he is with Denise

Beso 17-01-2012 09:50 AM

I think Denise's problem is that she is determined to treat Michael as a normal person and not be overawed by his Hollywood status, unfortunatley she's going about it all the wrong way and is actually trying to hard and making a point of being quite rude and obnoxious towards him in an effort to treat him like any other human being.

Unfortunatley for her, we all know that you don't treat people the way she is treating Michael at the moment. She's coming across as desperate to be liked by everyone, even gossiping behind Michaels back thinking she's in with the in crowd. No one likes a know-it-all, and that is Denise to a T.

What a loser, we all know the in crowd is the Twins, Frankie and Michael.

No not at all.

What I mean is that most people are overawed by big Hollywood stars and Denise is trying way to hard to treat him the same way she treats other people, however, sadly for her, the way she treats other people is by being overbearing and pathetically humourless in order to get on their side or to be liked by them.It may work with the morons in the house like Kirk, Nicola and Natalie but it doesn't work like that with Michael.

She should be intelligent enough to realise this and THEN treat him differently to other people in the house. Unfortunatley she's so self absorbed thinking she's the bollox to realise this at the moment.

Not really. Big Brother is easy money. He needs the money to pay for child support.

That's an interesting observation actually and I do think it applies to alot (not all) of them in there. Gareth and Romeo are quiet alot of the time but they look like they're really listening to anyone who's speaking. The others not so much.

Reading wiki ,apart from a few exceptions ,he appears to be a z-lister.................... Since the mid 1990s, Madsen has appeared more often in lower-budget films released directly to video or television.

Denise just doesn’t seem to understand the idea of personal space. Or be able to read a situation. Michael obviously likes his alone time. He isn’t really fitting in with the group. He isn’t a big talker. But Denise just doesn’t seem to be able to leave well enough alone...

I think Michael is doing everything he can to avoid conflict and itsn't getting the credit for it. He's walking away, not raising his voice, asking others to let Denise know that he's not comfortable and wants his space.

Speaking of which I was really p*ssed off with Natalie's handling of that situation. Rather than taking Denise aside and explaining that Michael wanted space, she just blurted it out to the group. Making him look like a right "bad guy". Where all he was trying to do was to avoid a ridiculous situation getting out of hand.
