According to an article I read they were MP's of the Palikot's Movement, they're quite a small party with 41 seats out of 460 but it's good to see them making a stand against it anyway

The American Government is backwards for supporting it's own industries really? How many Americans are illegally downloading German TV shows, or German Music?? gimme a break.

The American Government is doing it's job of protecting American citizens and American Industry by protecting American artists, We all know the vast MAJORITY of illegal downloading is of AMERICAN ARTISTS. So how is it backward???

Heaven forbid the American Government try to protect the interests of America, shame on them, so backward! SO backward for a democratically elected government actually try to protect their own people's work and businesses.

Alright i've got loads of faults in your post.

1. The Government does not care about the businesses losing out on money, they just want to have more power over the Internet because places like Youtube keep catching them out on some of the bull**** lies that they come out with.

2. Are you honestly telling me that Americans don't use piracy? especially when it comes to Japanese Anime aswell.

3. These people in the Governments are hypocrites because I bet they break some laws,I know Labour was quite bad for breaking laws over here so I imagine they've broke laws in the past but I bet they wouldn't want there law breaking to be stopped would they?

4. The only reason it seems like Americans lose more money than other countries is because they invest in the TV and Film industry the most.

Protests, Fighting, War, Making ourselves heard and not just on the Internet etc

Action must be took ASAP.
None of these silly 'lets get say no 2 sopa trending hehe' or bloody petitions, people have to get themselves heard before it's too late.
It's scary aswell how many people are unaware this is even happening.

Protests will be Plan A,fighting Plan B,and war Plan C,that would be my suggestion anyway.:joker:

But I do agree with you as Internet users don't get taken seriously sadly.

Stu 27-01-2012 08:37 PM

Yeah let's go to war! Show me your war scream!

****ing dolts :joker:. Neither of you will so much as send a letter to a single politician. You'll just sit there and complain that nothing will have an effect and offer zero viable alternatives. Maybe the occasional Facebook share. Nagging to death on TiBB ... viva la revolution!

There is a petition that will be presented to all members of the EU parliment urging them to vote against ACTA the original aim was to try and gather 500k signatures the petition currently a stands at over 1 million and is gaining signatures at a rate of over 100 a minute consider signing it if you value your privacy.
