Of course its double standards Scott is a bloke the same as Luke ,S Adam etc and Becky is a woman the same as Sara,Deana ,double standards because its happened to Becky(disliked by majority, house laughing stock) instead of Deana(put on a pedestal)

armand.kay 25-07-2012 05:56 PM

How on earth can a thread about Scott and Becky turn into another Deana hate thread. :idc:

coolface 25-07-2012 06:08 PM

There ARE times when reading your posts can make me nod in agreement and even chuckle. Love the last line!

This, even though I seriously doubt connor would harm anyone.

No man ,no matter who he is should be allowed ( never mind cheered on as some on here are doing ) to threaten to hit any woman in the face, the uproar when Conor made a threat was OTT,But this one because Becky is not liked is ok ? Oh no its not

Personally, I don't think either one has done much wrong other than say something obnoxious in the heat of the moment. People are taking this stuff way too seriously. It's hardly fight night!

smeagol 25-07-2012 07:08 PM

no double standards at all .
he is friends with becky he can get away with saying stuff like that. as we all do with our friends. There is a massive difference between saying you want to slap someone i.e bitch slap and threating to punch and rape.
he wouldn't say it to deana as they arn't friends. if he did he would mean it. and therefore it becomes more serious. but its him and becky mr fluffy and miss blobby.
lets just see the video huh! and see how silly or serious it is.

Censored 25-07-2012 07:19 PM

Don't be daft. Nobody "threatened" to rape anybody. He was just chanting stupid comments, not making serious threats. Act your age.

He shouldnt "get away with it because its only Becky"YES it is double standards, you cannot pick and choose who can be threatened and who cannot ,one rule for all ,and BB warned him ,so it must have been serious

Munchkins 25-07-2012 08:02 PM

Oh god, im not getting into this
But Scott is an idiot at times -.-

sampvt 25-07-2012 08:12 PM

As a controller of a high profile show, the rules and regs and application of those R and R should be cast in stone. It shouldnt matter who said it or to whom it was said, the core issue should be WHAT WAS SAID That way we dont get different signals and wont need to argue and speculate.

In saying that, statements made in jest like shove it up your jacksie or the like, shouldnt be taken as actual threats. However if a statement is said in anger and directed to someones face, Ie designed to make them feel uncomfortable, afraid or intimidated, the dealer of that rant should be shown the door. Red card end of story, tatty bye dipstick.

BB needs to have some respect in order to control the program, this year they have zero control and zero abitratory skills, ergo zero respect and the end result is the series is pre ordained with a blatant winner from any gender or race they see fit. They cant afford to run the show with tight controls and manufacture their own winner at the same time so they change the rules and play silly buggers with the public and expect to get the 2 million watchers, no chance.

I don't like Becky but that was awful coming from Scott and wasn't this his final warning? he should have been removed... what I don't understand is how Becky and Scott are friends, Scott always bitches about Becky and she seems so bossy around him, he should be careful with her, 'cos if he snaps at her comments that could be his end.

However, this is BBxtra/TheDailyStar so it might be a load of gash.

BB couldn't give Scott the boot after Conor got away with far worse. Conor was the lucky one. Conor's persona is threatening and he used the word 'PUNCH' not slap - and he implied sexual violence as well. Scott's 'threat' (if it happened at all) seems like nothing but a schoolboy tantrum directed at a friend compared to the implicit aggression that the muscly and tattoed Conor displayed to someone he hates.

On the other hand we have a drunken gay man who who has a history who threatens to violate a girl TO HER FACE and BB decide to do nothing and the Deana deluded think Scotts actions were far worse. What planet are these people from. Both of them should be out here now no questions asked but to say Scott is naughty but conor is violent is way past logical.

Thank you, a voice of reason. Just because a person looks a certain way does not make them more prone to violence.

Look at Jeffrey Dahmer, Son of Sam, Ted Bundy, and even Hitler. All these guys were skinny bitches who could easily be laughed at. It's stupid that people would think Conor's rant is worse when it was clearly stated in an idiotic song behind Deana's back, while Scott's words were said to her face.

Do people think that because he's a skinny, gay dimwit that's he's not capable of anything?

Don't be surprised, but they're from the same place/town. Scott's accent is fake - he learnt that posh schtick from TV shows. I can't imagine how awkward it is at family dinners when everyone's speaking normally and this bottle-blond idiot is putting on an act.

Ever since the first night, I've had my reservations about him. It takes a special kind of weirdo to be fake 24/7.

He did slip up once though - albeit a tiny slip-up - when he talked about nominations and they lost the foosball table.

But the words they say and the way they say them do - and yes, a person is more likely to come across as threatening if they have muscles and tattoo's and use words like PUNCH and 'I'LL STICK IT UP HER...., obviously. To say it was an 'idiotic song' while comparing Scott to mass murderer's is atrocious -and I don't get the comparison, frankly. Are you saying that all mass murderers are skinny bitches?
