This story should include references to the ethnicity of the pharmacists as it is part of the story. It may be that Asian pharmacists for whatever reason indulge in this sort of behaviour with less scruples than say Caucasian pharmacists. It may be a cultural defect who knows, but the fact they are Asian is relevant to the story and should be mentioned.

Too many people on this forum are scared to debate anything that goes near the race issue. It's like nobody wants to have the race card played against them. But debating race issues openly and honestly does not automatically make us all racists...!!

It may also be that Asian Pharmacists are no more corrupt than Caucasian ones. An interesting aside - is it possible only Asian Pharmacists were targeted in this "journalistic" investigation, would that be racist ? Even in an area where there are no caucasian ones?

Perhaps every news story should indicate whether the "alleged" perpetrator is "white" "asian" "african" "afro-caribbean" "multiple or mixed".

Hey we could go really PC and also include age groupings and religions. That way we would find out if Jedis commit crimes too.

I dont really care if they are Asian, Eskimo, afro-caribbean or caucasian, if they didnt discriminate in who they sold the drugs to, does it really matter?

It reminds me of the sex grooming thing where nobody is allowed to mention the fact pretty much all of them are Asian.

No, I am saying they are Asian , this may or may not be coincidental it may have no bearing on the story whatsoever. But it is a detail that should be mentioned without fear of being accused of putting a racial slant on the story. The racial profile is clearly already there.
