Which hypocrisy are you pointing out? That some people don't like patriotism and have an opinion on the Americans and then some other people from the same country are patriotic. That's not hypocrisy, that's different people with different opinions.

They're little more than a tourist attraction. It's absurd really to keep up such an archaic tradition when a Presidential Republic would allow proper representation of the people, but it's a tradition that's in for the long haul really. The majority of people over here love the Royals too much to see them go.
