But you need to look at the context. He didn't just randomly blurt it out one day did he.

National Front Disco? Asian Rut? Bengali in Platforms? His numerous racist and xenophobic comments over the years?

Branding a whole race of people a sub-species is racism in it's most disgusting form, regardless of context, and I've never read NME in my life.

He used the words "You can't help but feel" Didn't say "They're a subspecies"

I said he called them a sub-species, I didn't suggest he made a scientific claim that they were, "you can't help but feel" = "I feel"

If he meant I feel he'd have said "I feel". Again, you should probably read the whole article. Also listen to the songs you posted and listen to the lyrics. If you're feeling really giddy you can look up on youtube what he says about the racism claims.
