3.2m average prediction from me their doesn't seem to be much promo for cbb this year

daniel-lewis-1985 29-12-2013 10:43 PM

Cant believe people are thinking 3.5 in overnights.

Seriously?

Theres no promotion and it starts on a Friday.

You would think Emma or Rylan would be getting interviews on Loose women and other shows by now.

Theres not 1 poster or billboard and ive seen the advert once on Channel 5.

2.5/2.7 maximum.

Good point about interviews. Loose Women should be on the cards this week because its tradition! If they don't, it would be very odd.

CBB12 started with 2.7m and that was in the summer, which is why I am hoping for 3m+

Jamesy 30-12-2013 11:22 AM

I'm thinking around 2.5-2.7m. If they do some last minute advertising on other channels this week then they might hit the 3.0m+ mark.

Loose women isn't back until 6th. This morning is back on this Thursday. What days is Emma normally in the hub? Emma is on Alan Carr chatty man tomorrow night I think.

Agree thats why im only going for about 2.5m hardly any promotion come on frow sort it out

*mazedsalv** 30-12-2013 04:48 PM

The only promotion it has going for it is on Twitter because the people rumoured with hundreds of thousands of followers. I hope that helps, but it's VERY odd they are not promoting it.

daniel-lewis-1985 30-12-2013 05:13 PM

Literally hardly any of the viewing public know CBB is back on in 4 days.

Look how much promo BB14 got and the launch night ratings were shockingly bad to all of us on the forum.

Hopefully though like BB14 CBB will build but it will affect the average in a massive way if launch night figures are low.

BB14 would have averaged well over 2 million if it wasn't for the stupid double launch and dismal ratings for both shows plus the stupid decision to split the finale into 2 parts on a weeknight when watching BB came second priority to viewers getting up for their jobs in the morning.

Under 48 hours to go. Get your last predictions in!

I'm going to go for 2.8 including +1

Jake. 02-01-2014 01:13 AM

Samm 02-01-2014 08:18 AM

Launch: 3.3

Quite high for the final and low for the average! :p

Pronshi 03-01-2014 12:09 PM

Launch 3.3
Average 2.6
Final 3.1

Rob! 04-01-2014 01:39 AM

Judging by the amount of "CBB is back?" I'm gonna have to go for 2.8.

3.4 last night, only beat by BBC One. Up from last series but down slightly from this time last year (january series)

Sawyer 04-01-2014 10:17 AM

Not a bad figure considering the lack of promotion.

@TVRatingsUK: #CelebrityBigBrother series 13 kicked off last night with 3.40m/15.0%, only beaten by BBC1 during its two hours on air. #CBB

@TVRatingsUK: #CelebrityBigBrother's audience of 3.40m is 570k up on the last series launch in August, but 150k down on series 11's launch in January 2013

Not sure what the peak is though.

*mazedsalv** 04-01-2014 10:18 AM

Very good start with less promo and more competition! The share increased by almost 100% throughout the show! Also if you take out the first 15 mins and the last 5 mins, it would have averaged around 3.60m

21:00 - 2,486.20 (10.15%)
21:05 - 2,933.90 (11.82%)
21:10 - 2,647.10 (10.79%)
21:15 - 3,009.90 (12.27%)
21:20 - 3,330.30 (13.46%)
21:25 - 3,368.60 (13.51%)
21:30 - 3,476.40 (13.99%)
21:35 - 2,870.10 (11.63%)
21:40 - 3,403.00 (13.65%)
21:45 - 3,644.30 (14.71%)
21:50 - 3,086.70 (12.45%)
21:55 - 3,718.20 (15.03%)
22:00 - 4,171.10 (18.31%)
22:05 - 3,574.70 (15.99%)
22:10 - 3,766.00 (17.21%)
22:15 - 3,917.90 (18.08%)
22:20 - 3,818.00 (17.78%)
22:25 - 3,462.70 (16.67%)
22:30 - 3,898.00 (19.04%)
22:35 - 3,698.20 (18.93%)
22:40 - 3,214.40 (17.44%)
22:45 - 3,552.40 (19.57%)
22:50 - 3,138.40 (17.83%)
22:55 - 1,918.20 (11.55%)

From 10% to almost 20%! Also a 4.2m peak!

Sawyer 04-01-2014 10:20 AM

****! 4.2m peak is amazing.

Rob! 04-01-2014 10:35 AM

Yes! So pleased it did well :)
Really looking forward to seeing how this series plays out, it's a great line up.
Dreaded Saturday ratings tonight though. What do we think? 1.9? Maybe 2.0?

jackc1806 04-01-2014 10:35 AM

Guesses for tonight?

Samm 04-01-2014 10:35 AM

I'm Shocked!

*mazedsalv** 04-01-2014 10:39 AM

Tonight's a Saturday but it's bloody cold, I'm guessing it should stay above 2m! But Sunday should bring it back to the mid 2m I reckon.

BigBrotherfan4ever 04-01-2014 10:50 AM

That's great ratings

zakman440 04-01-2014 10:51 AM

:o no way. Let's hope for high ratings throughout!

daniel-lewis-1985 04-01-2014 10:56 AM

Surprised BUT is this including +1.

Allways deceiving.

Excluding +1, it averaged 3.18 million (14%), still pretty impressive for Channel 5.

Natalie. 04-01-2014 11:18 AM

Great rating

Raph 04-01-2014 11:18 AM

that's really pretty decent ratings, nice!

daniel-lewis-1985 04-01-2014 11:30 AM

I never thought it would reach 3 million.

Its Saturday now though so it will tail off but I can see people returning for Sunday.

Redway 04-01-2014 11:30 AM

If you're measuring by what channels they're on, no. All Channel 4's averaged we're hovering around the 3 to 5m mark, whereas C5 has the range 2 - 3 inclusive.

Obviously, it depends on whether it's a summer or winter series, in which case shares are especially more important.

Im sure officials should bring it over the 3.5 mark easily.

Redway 04-01-2014 12:03 PM

Definitely. It's already that with only +1 added. Could timeshift a further couple of hundred thousand.

Jemal 04-01-2014 12:42 PM

Great stuff

*mazedsalv** 04-01-2014 01:13 PM

Something I didn't notice... it would make it the highest of BB since Emma was a presenter! So more people last night witnessed Emma presenting. Also, as we have probably noticed, last night was the 2nd highest rating of the last year for BB, just behind CBB11 launch.

Officials should bring it nearer to 3.7m I think.

Loukas 04-01-2014 01:35 PM

Woo! :hello:
Thats with one 10 second advert too, imagine if they promote it with a full minute advert, billboards, posters ect. I wonder how many of that audience will watch until the very end though

neneu10 04-01-2014 01:39 PM

Great stuff :elephant:
