It nice to know that the people posting are intentionally being offensive!

She's ridiculous. Just like Lee. No self awareness.

Spot on.

Simply reflects and has the attitudes of her parents and friends. Going outside of that group she finds that she is not understood. We think we hear words we understand but how sure are we that her meaning is correctly communicated.
Perhaps when you say she is not handling criticism something else like frustrations of being misunderstood is what is actually being shown.

I make this deduction based on the way she must have in her business life handled failure as a learning process to adjust it to success.

I dont think she is being misunderstood I think she uses it as an excuse for her frankly obnoxious personality. Once again it everyone else fault not hers. Everyone else needs to adapt to accommodate her. I find little to like in this woman.

Luisa and Dappy seem to be competing for the title of Most Obnoxious Housemate! Lol!

Yes it is easy to not like someone. It is harder to take the time to understand someone you don't like. After all what is the point in asking why a person does what we don't like and trying to understand them and thier motives? Lets just stay in our comfort zone and not like it and not try to learn something new.

What about that person asking themselves why they rub people the wrong way? In my experience when someone is supposedly constantly misunderstood the problem usually lies with them and not with everyone else.

People can only ever be themselves, discovering that self it the adventure of life. A person is responsible for themselves. That would include their reaction to other people. So what attitude keeps you smiling with people you don't like?

People can only ever be themselves? I dont accept that as an excuse for obnoxious behavior. I have a friend who I believe is a bit of a pyscho. He like upsetting people. He genuinely finds it funny to say the one thing that he knows will upset someone. But he's only being himself? And I've know him since he was 11 so I know what he's like and I actually really like him. Is it up to him to change or everyone else to just accept his very distasteful banter even though he has upset many people over the years.

I saw it as more of an intervention. She was rude and she got the same level of rudeness back, but it came along with people trying to explain to her why she was being perceived in a way that she didn't intend and her response was to burst into tears and not accept that she had been offensive. Agree with Livia and GiRTh.

...yeah, I do understand that she was probably offensive..(although I didn't hear exactly what she said..)..but I still think that Lionel could have spoken to her privately about it but instead they were all 'talking at her' at the table and I think that Linda maybe sensed her discomfort and that's why she backed off a bit and said that she could understand what Luisa was trying to say..?...imo, they did 'pack up' on her and that really wasn't very good...

..and it's not that I particularly like Luisa, but I still think that was why she cried and felt 'ganged up on..'....

GiRTh 11-01-2014 02:19 PM

I dont agree Ammi. Sorry. I think Luisa has quite a bit of bravado hence the 'its my personality' stance and the others should just accept it. She could have accepted what they said took it on board and they would have all moved on but no you must accept the way she is - 'its just the way I am,'. When they didnt accept the way she was then came the water works. I dont think they ganged up on her at all. She had an easy out from that conversation but she didnt take it and I think it was very manipulative of her and another unpleasant trait of hers to turn on the water works.

I dont like her very much. You might have noticed. :idc:

..no, you've hidden it well but tbh.....I'm not a huge fan of Luisa myself and find she's been quite manipulative in a few things and although she probably was rude about 'OAPs'..for me that doesn't detract from the fact that she did appear 'talked at' by several people and that couldn't have been pleasant at all and would probably bring someone to tears...I just don't think they were very good in how they handled it...

Absolutely agree with this. She wasn't upset because she had upset her fellow housemates and she was sorry for what she had said. She was upset because people were angry at her. I don't think they even ganged up on her; three people told her that they didn't appreciate what she said, one of them backed off when it was pressed by the other two who barely even raised their voices when talking about it with her.

Luisa is just one of those highly unpleasant, unlikeable people who think it's their right to say whatever the **** they want to whoever they please, regardless of who it hurts or offends!
This "but at least I say it how it is" attitude is just a poor excuse for being ignorant, rude and having no social awareness!

How true! And yet... if someone tries to tell her like it is, a drama ensues.

Lee. 11-01-2014 02:36 PM

And yes, I agree she wasn't upset because she had offended people.. If this had been the case, we'd have seen remorse it heard the word "sorry". She was upset over being called out for her behaviour and possibly making her look bad to the public!

Yup! Why am I never surprised you, Livia, GiRTh and I usually end up agreeing about housemates?

Chuckyegg 11-01-2014 02:45 PM

She's finding out that she has to share the world with other people and they have lives too. I realised this when I was 4.

How do parents handle a child that has found saying '*uck' gets them a lot of attention? Simple the attention reward is withdrawn and they stop. I suggest that your friend is attention seeking with his behaviour. Also the lesson he teaches is that the person he is upsetting has a belief that actually causes them a problem and would do well to learn to relax that belief.

Stress causes illness, relaxation and happiness causes health.

Tonights episode is going to be amazing

erinp5 11-01-2014 05:02 PM

SHE may have been saved from the dreaded first eviction by Lee and Casey, but that doesn't mean that Luisa Zissman was in for a quiet night.

After losing her former bondage buddy Evander and welcoming the mischievous bolt hole residents back into the fold, the Apprentice star did the impossible and managed to strike up a feud with Lionel Blair.
The outspoken babe, who revealed that she has slept with multiple women and attended kinky sex parties, tried to explain to the group that she was only joking when she called her remaining housemates 'OAPs'.
Luisa claimed she said to housemates that after Casey and Lee's departure, the house was left with "the naughty ones", herself and Jasmine, "the perfect ones", Sam and Ollie, and the rest were OAPs.

She said: "That's not me being bitchy, it's me thinking that I'm funny."
But Jim and Lionel were less than impressed with the exhibitionist's comments.
Funnyman Jim failed to crack a smile, saying: "I don't think she was having a laugh, I thought it was rude."
But while the Generation Game host was quiet in his disapproval, Lionel was a bit more forward in letting Luisa know how he felt.
The star, who says that he is 59 "plus VAT", said: "I don't think she was having a laugh either. I think she was a rude *******ing cow. You do mean it, be honest."

While Linda tried to explain that that was just Luisa's humour, Lionel continued on his tirade, claiming that the busty businesswoman said that the house was like living in an old folk's home.
He said: "We've had such fun, and we've had laughs and everything, and you turn around and say that."
But while the game show legend eventually quietened down, Luisa couldn't end the argument there- and promptly burst into tears.
Linda and Lionel both went to hug her as she sobbed dramatically and insisted she didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings.

MrWong 11-01-2014 05:40 PM

Lionel wants to take offence because he doesn't like Luisa.

He did the same with Jasmine. Horrified when she's vulgar but would be less horrified with a man doing it :conf:

Then pretty vulgar himself the next night chatting about Deep Throat and a clit at the back of some womans throat.

If only it were that simple. One of the things my friend did was tell a mutual friends girlfriend about all the women her boy friend had slept with behind her back. Still think its everyone else who's got the problem?. No its him who has the problem and we've tried every approach. We've tried subtlety, we've threatened him. Nothing gets thru cuz as I have said, I've known this guy since he was 11 so I've watched him turn into this person. Its not attention he's after, he genuinely find upsetting people funny. Hence why I think he's a borderline psycho. That makes him great company but what about when he upsets the wrong person.

I am a believer in behaviour modification. If something isnt working then you try something else. If no one gets you then its you who has the problem not everyone else.

Behaviour modification - I am a great believer in rational emotional behavioral therapy (REBT). Still we are now going off topic.
