I chose Dappy, because I think he is a prodigious talent, having started his band at the age of 12 and playing regular gigs by 13. Wow! He has an incredible sense of rhythm and an innate musicality that leaves my jaw on the floor.

he was a 'comedian' during a really intolerant period when it was actual mockery, and the fact that he's said incredibly offensive things away from his shows like this also suggest his jokes probably match his real views

but anyway I never even said he was racist in my original post I was just implying that if a large portion of your comedy is racism you're probably not that talented

I don't want to be offensive of anyone's heroes, but how is it a talent to punch another person? Surely that is down to size, weight, muscle bulk, strength, quick reaction time, anticipating another's moves, training etc.

Jim, Luisa, Lionel, and Liz are the only housemates with any talent. I voted Jim.

I saw both, but I have seen most of his talent in the house on Youtube which they didn't show.

In the past granted including TV which was accepted then. TV would not have allowed him on otherwise? Now in modern times NO! So he has adapted. I have seen two stage shows (Sinderella} with Jim and Paul Ogrady twice and one of his stand ups in the last few years, never been anything over the top. So the fact is NO his act/s are not the same.

Yes. Have seen him over the years on different comedy shows, with him doing his stand up routine & love him on The Generation Game & Big Break...

That was not his whole act. He may have had the odd racist joke, but then all comedians of that era did. Things were not as PC as they are today & as such his act has changed with the times... I have seen a DVD of a fairly recent stand up tour & there were no racist, homophobic jokes at all...

Besides just because somone tells racist or homophobic jokes it does not make them racist or homophobic. It isn't about hate, it is about taking the pi**, there is a HUGE difference.
