Depends on my situation. If I knew with more time this year I would of given it more thought

Gstar 07-05-2014 01:42 AM

do it, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and when your older (60+) you will see it as one of the best decisions you've ever made

Kizzy 07-05-2014 01:51 AM

Or you could be starring in a BB porno with darnell?... Hold that thought.

Anyone would think everyone emerges from BB with terrific career prospects, only a very few have done well out of it and the experience has ruined some so you are right to be cautious Sawyer. You must be interesting though if they called you back after you walked out!

Awww, that's a shame. Would have been amazing to have a TIBBer on the show.

At least you had the courage to audition. I always really want to apply but then back out as I'm worried what my family would think ect. They are very anti bb, whereas I have always watched it, secretly, as my dad wouldn't let it be on in the house. Obviously now I have my own place I can watch it easily but you can imagine if my dad was so against it even being on the telly how he would react if I went in so it always stops me from applying :(

Go for it. You only live once.

Strictly Jake 07-05-2014 02:02 PM

Haha don't think it's worth my entire family turning their backs on me, though it may make for an interesting back story...

someotherguy 08-05-2014 04:57 PM

I've just had this exact same call, hence why i've googled it and ended up here. 'Hi, just letting you know you're still in the mix, are you still interested?' Said very much so and then 'ok cool bye'. Bastards.

Interesting that it's almost 2 weeks after yourself though.

someotherguy 08-05-2014 04:58 PM

Also with it being merely weeks away you'd think the producers would have their **** together by now. ****s sakes.

It's C5, you're guaranteed a cluster****

someotherguy 08-05-2014 05:16 PM

Bloody frustrating! I hadn't heard from them in over a month so thought i was out of the running. In case any of you were interested, they said no decisions have been made yet but I think that's bollocks, if that's the case what've they been doing the past month?

Vanessa 08-05-2014 05:27 PM

Good luck anyway. :)

Housemate choices always go right down to the wire. I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few start dropping out right towards the end so they need a few backups to step in.

Their new career may be that, too. If they put it on hold just to do Big Brother, who says their job will still be waiting for them when they get out?

Or one of the worst. A fair few housemates have said just that.

I'm not trying to dissuade you OP, just adding another side to the discussion. You say that you have a brand new career right now, sounds like you have something pretty good going for you. Why risk that (and possible future prospects) for BB?

I'm not saying doing BB automatically hampers job opportunities (Rachel Rice seemed to have no problem with her teaching afterwards), I'm just referring to the fact that you say you're starting out a new career right now, it's certainly a risk to put that on the back-burner for BB right now.

At the end of the day, it's up to you, but I think anyone who's applied for BB needs to seriously consider both sides of the coin first. Going into it expecting nothing but an amazing experience, both during and after, isn't necessarily the best thing to do.

Marsh. 08-05-2014 06:14 PM

Yeah, it's a tough decision.

But if, like Rachel Rice, you retain your dignity, you'll have a better chance post show.

lukee 09-05-2014 11:41 AM

sorry but why would u even risk coming on this site and telling everyone not like anyone on this site dont or has worked on the show sorry but I dont believe u and if u have you just ruined it

Beastie 09-05-2014 10:38 PM

My friend got a call yesterday and they are still deciding.

Marsh. 09-05-2014 10:59 PM

I got a call this morning.

Ramsay 09-05-2014 11:09 PM

Sure i'm just off with the phone with them

Marsh. 09-05-2014 11:15 PM

It was my nan.

BigBrotherGuy100 11-05-2014 09:19 AM

Ok so I posted an apology last night and I think it was removed.. Just sayin

Scream 11-05-2014 09:52 PM

When I made my video to send in it was too late :( Is there any way to contact BB now and ask them or send them a video seeing as they are still looking? I would be a great character in the mix. haha, but seriously is there any way?

You could try contacting them. Good luck.

Turtle 12-05-2014 10:54 AM

There's always a Rebecca and a Sam.

There's always a quiet Welsh person who makes it to the final.

There's always some version/incarnation of Laura BB8.

I didn't know how as there's never an actual contact email which is confirmed that they look at haha so I gave them what they want. I contacted an agent who is linked with Big Brother and he's sending my info on so if they are still looking then let's pray.

Marsh. 12-05-2014 02:38 PM

Are you interesting?
