I'm not justifying or liking her comment about religion, I was just pointing out that by feigning her religious morals Danielle is just as bad if not worse IMO. She's an all out fake.

I think everyone is forgetting danielle's attitude throughout this whole show. She clearly favours massive oppression of women. "you have to be lady like", just one of many examples. Why is a women not aloud to talk about sex, a perfectly natural thing yet a lad can. People like her are stopping this world from evolving into a completely equal and free society. It takes people like helen to give narrow minded, brainwashed individuals a kick up the arse.

Having a religious view is a free choice but when using it as opression or influencing other people is wrong on many levels

..hmmm, but we don't really know what Danielle's beliefs are, surely..?..because she appears to be using whatever they are as a gameplay and not even a very good one either...she's 'offended' at swearing etc and isn't used to being around it and then in a complete reverse she's joining in with the very best of them/within the blink of an eye..

..whether I was someone who agreed with what she believed in or not, it doesn't matter because she was someone who I thought potentially was going to be a very interesting and complex housemate but I don't think she is ..her game play is very transparent and using 'religion' herself, to me makes her the 'insulting' one because she really makes a complete mockery of genuine beliefs..so many people and even on this forum, scorn and ridicule religion and beliefs and she really has done no favours at all and just makes it look complete hypocrisy... Danielle is a fake christian (if indeed real ones exist) and its plain to see that its an act, even to Helen so frankly it not surprising that in a row, what everyone is thinking gets articulated.

The reason it would not be tolerated if it were Islam for example is that Christians are on the whole able to accept that people dont respect or believe in their religion, Muslims have not reached that stage yet and still think they are right etc. As a producer you know that you will not get into trouble for a christian bash but you also know you would for anti-islam

So 100% agree with you. Danielle does indeed have hypocritical tendencies and they should be pointed out to her but for Helen to be so slanderous against someones religion is, in my opinion, so offensive that it should have warranted an immediate removal from the house. As the OP said, if she had said similar about the Muslim faith she would have been out straight away.

Reading about her life it seems to have played a big part, and is probably the reason why she is so negative about it .

Helen Wood and Danielle McMahon’s argument is still impacting the house, with Christopher Hall now deciding that he’s furious.



Christopher has waited two days and open up with his opinion on the clash, branding Helen “appalling” and saying she should be embarrassed.

It follows some of the other housemates claiming that Christopher sat on the fence a lot.

“I do have an opinion I just want don’t want to create a massive **** storm,” he explained. “I just felt it was best to shut up and let the girls who were fighting sort it out.”

Delivering his verdict of the argument, Christopher said: “She [Helen] should be embarrassed, her comments were appalling, absolutely appalling.



“She insulted everything from her beliefs to to her appearance, she should be appalled.

“I know she was angry but in the outside world I don’t surround myself by people as angry as that, I come from a Christian background and she’s slagging off those belief systems in front of me.”

And Stephen warned: “If he said something like that again, I will say something about it but there was a lot of s**t going down, at the time I just thought there was really no point in stirring this up.”
