Not at all. I'm really enjoying it and I usually do feel a bit like I have to force myself to watch the first few weeks

jet 18-06-2014 08:04 PM

I'm not as keen as usual this year. The choppy editing is really annoying and maybe it's just my sound system but a lot of the time the HM's microphones echo and I can't make out what they are saying. Anyone else having that problem?
Like others have said, I feel we aren't getting to know the HM's enough. There is little normal conversation and interaction with each other. It's all about the Power HM and quite frankly we need something else besides that to hold the attention. Well, I do anyway!
It's a slow burner for me so far but I won't stop watching. I am afraid of missing something exciting! :hehe:

Marsh. 18-06-2014 08:05 PM

There are times when the sound goes funny when I watch too. Did the sound man get made redundant?

..yeah I'm having problems hearing it all as well Jet and often have the volume up really high ...I have to be honest I do miss normal nominations and am getting a bit tired of the Power housemate although it has also provided a lot of the talking points as well this year...

OMG I **** you not I thought it was my tv. Ive been fiddling about with the audio settings during the highlight shows lol thought it was coz I had it on "movie".

jet 18-06-2014 08:10 PM

Well thank goodness it's not my too - expensive sound system at fault. :D

Jamesy 18-06-2014 08:12 PM

I haven't come across any major audio problems although the volume usually has to be turned up a little for BB. I get the echo thing too although the C4 series used to have echoing too. Seems to just be because it's a large space so sound can bounce around a lot.

I haven't noticed it in any other series.

JohnnyBB 18-06-2014 08:15 PM

Gusto Brunt 18-06-2014 08:15 PM

It's only the second week of ten weeks, so it's very early days. Lovin' the show

Cherie 18-06-2014 08:21 PM

its okay, I suppose the last CBB was so good that its a bit of a hard act to follow maybe. I would like to see a bit more of the HMs in the DR there are people we have never seen in the DR at all :nono:

Years ago, there used to be a weekly programme, Diary Room uncut.

Or like you're watching out of loyalty to the show that's been a massive part of your life?

I just cant get into it, when the highlights are on it may aswell just be background noise because its just not generally entertaining me this year.

Im not going to switch off because ive got BB ocd lol but I feel like if I did switch off I wouldn't really be missing out on anything.

Anyone else?

yea, me! Scared might miss something interesting but my brain switches off trying to follow something so disjointed. As some one pointed out, 45 minutes out of 24 hours is not realistic is it.
I am going to switch off fir now at least as I am bored, better use of my precious time will be to sleep, lol.

ruiphillips 18-06-2014 09:43 PM

Yeah. It's like watching paint dry. It's all repetitive. Pauline this, Helen that, who is the Power housemate!!!

Rinse and repeat.

Me. I Am Salman 18-06-2014 09:44 PM

Such a fantastic episode so far tonight. Some people just can't be pleased.

Daniel. 18-06-2014 09:49 PM

Yes i am loving this episode

Drew. 18-06-2014 09:52 PM

I'm really enjoying it but it does feel like a bit of a chore trying to fit it in to watch it with all the football that is on.

Ramsay 18-06-2014 11:32 PM

Watched the two launches, Tamara eviction and half of one highlight. Either im finally moving on from the show or im too bored this series. Probably a bitta both

For god sakes less of the little jibes and try and have an adult conversation.

Tonight I actually enjoyed the show but I do stick with what I said about the editing.

That task was so confusing to watch, it was like I and others said before very hastily chopped together. I dont know if it was their intention to try and make it look more fast paced and exciting but to me it came across as a bit of a mess. Was I the only one thinking why people were saying other people were showing their true colours ect and why they were so angry?

I felt I had not witnessed what had happened just Toya shouting everyone down and I kind of had to come to my own conclusion as to what actually happened.

Toya is brilliant but I have a feeling she will be gone next week which is a shame coz she is coming into her own. Could be another Charley 2.0

The egg task was amazing I have to be fair just due to Danielles face haha #GlamourModel

Looking forward to tomorrows highlights :)

On a final note.

I Am Salman not everybody has to love everything about the show we are entitled to our opinions without having some bitchy little "your negative" "Some people just can't be pleased"comments thrown our way.

You really should learn to deal with that, disagreeing and debating is brilliant but when you just attack with short snappy answers what's even the point? It just throws the whole thread off topic and wastes a lot of time by people basically spreading their legs for attention and infractions.

Jords 19-06-2014 12:44 AM

Nope Im really enjoying it so far :D

Kizzy 19-06-2014 12:47 AM

Chore? it's been an emotional roller-coaster

It's my genuine opinion though, I think the series is a huge improvement on last year  was pretty vocal with my hate for BB14 post-week 4/5

Your genuine opinion is that I need to get a grip just because I disagreed with your opinion?

Also insinuating im trying to spread some sort of hate campaign so people wont like the show? lol

C'mon comes across a bit actually a lot dramatic.

Out of interest when did you start watching the show?

Me. I Am Salman 19-06-2014 01:19 AM

CBB4 lol

Me. I Am Salman 19-06-2014 01:19 AM

No it was at anyone who posted some slight criticism of the series so far.

You didn't answer my question though when did you start watching BB?

It just happened to be posted in his thread.

I think that this series is okay so far, I do think once Pauline leaves on Friday that all the other entertainers will drop like Flies as I get a BB5/BB9 vibe for this series for how badly the public voted in them series.

ozzyshaggah 19-06-2014 04:01 AM

bb is what it is
my only suggestion is send the producers of the high light packages and the bit on the side show (fang and emma included) to the south pole to film the penguins

that will test them, see what rubbish they can find out of that lot

of course i am joking - the north pole is closer and cheaper
seeing as how cost appears to be the major factor

have a nice day.........

BigBrotherfan4ever 19-06-2014 06:34 AM

I'm really enjoying it this year, but still really miss the LF

newsbb 19-06-2014 06:37 AM

Nedusa 19-06-2014 08:46 AM

Yes totally agree.........have recorded all HL shows and BOTS as have been working abroad but now I am trying to catch up BUT yes I admit I have had to just FF through an awful lot as it is a bit dross at moment.

Hopefully it will pick up as we start to build up some attachments to various HM

I will certainly keep watching.........for now

They obviously disagree. They don't need correcting.
