It's also a bit sexist to lose women one after another until you get the inevitable all-male-final and a male winner. This pretty much happens every single year and very few people bat an eyelid.

On the other hand, remember the panic on here that set in when all the men were up for eviction a few weeks ago?.

I reckon a lot of it is to do with the audience.. which a majority are females.. they're far more likely to vote a male contestant whose 'hunky' or whatever, than a women who seems slightly more egotistical or larger than life.. likewise, I know no men who'd vote.. whether to evict or save.. it seems a little unfair but who knows.. Zoe seems to be playing it well with the public!

they seriously need to chuck a girl back in, they should get Danielle or do a twist were the public gets to vote one of the previous evicted females back in. Wow 3 girls and we still have 4 weeks left. BB 14 had 3 girls left in the final week before the last eviction.

You have to blame the voting demographic on that, methinks!

I'd say blame the weak male cast choices. I mean, I like most of them but compared to the women this year the blokes have been really quiet.

I said in another thread if we had had the same choices for eviction, and it had been vote to save, I really think we would have a female heavy house at this stage.

:) yeah, I was-that was the point I was trying to make; women -keep- being voted out, like I said in another thread, I think women run this show as far as voting is concerned...


The whole thing seems perverse-women voting out/hating/wanting to kill other women then going all gaga over some bloke no matter who/what he is. Evey....single.....year....since....the...show.... starrrrrted...:sleep:

It's a shame that the producers never ever seem to give the girls a good edit. It's perfectly clear Ashleigh and Chris have gotten on well for weeks, yet we've never really seen her with him.

Maybe if they did show them being a bit more charming, they wouldn't be down to 3 left.

If they're so weak why aren't they gone? because no-one -wants- them gone, everyone just wants the women out. The men are being saved no matter what they're like.

Because its vote to evict...the men aren't being 'saved' as such at all. Just they have done nothing to be evicted for, as they have done next to nothing period, where the women have largely carried the series..

I think they could introduce a new rule that would stop the trend of women going early and keep the male and female balance throughout the series
16 housemates next season
Week 1 = male vs female
Week 2 = male vs male or female vs female
Always a 1v1 each week. With a 1v1 there is no difference between VTS/VTE so the argument over which is better becomes redundant.
Every eviction would be completely fair as well.
Then for the final 5/6 it is a straight up VTW.
This new rule would address the gender balance complaints and keep "entertaining" housemates in IF the "like" > "dislike"

I honestly don't see the need for balancing out genders. I think its a sexist idea in itself to be quite honest..I do not particularly care what a housemate has between their legs..I just want the interesting ones to stay. If that leaves us with a house full of males or a house full of females then so be it.

Unfortunately this year the voting has been ridiculous as nearly every strong character has left so far. But I stand by the main reason for it being vote to evict mixed with so many housemates up each week.

It wouldn't be sexist, it would be just using the same principle as choosing 8 men and 8 women to start the show.
If they made it so every week it was a 1v1 eviction then the strong character would always stay, whether they are strong for the "right" or "wrong" reasons.
1v1 evictions are more exciting too, because it is classic battle of "good vs evil", fans of one, haters of the other vs fans of one, haters of the other.

Big Brother 1
1st eviction was Caroline vs Sada Sada 55%
2nd eviction was Andrew vs Caroline Andrew 68%
3rd eviction was Caroline vs Tom Caroline 62%
4th eviction was Craig vs Nichola Nichola 72%

This year we could have had Steven vs another male in week 2 and got rid of Steven before the Kimberly showmance even got off the ground :banana:
