Yeah, most things paraded around about the housemates are irrelevant and nothing to do with the show, good or bad, and this is one of them IMO. Though saying she pretends to do something like this is quite harsh none of the less, there's nothing wrong with her snapping pics from the paper and uploading them, she's taking the time and effort to go do these things, maybe she wants some recognition for the charities she's helping and maybe a tiny bit for herself?

Nothing is selfless no, but it's good on her for doing them either way, people need to stop obsessing and turning everything around to make Ashleigh look bad, and any other HM for that matter. Sick of hearing about Helen's past career aswell.

I get what you're saying, i don't like it either, but when people are showing these pictures as evidence to back up the 'fact' that she's completely selfless and that she can do no wrong, it annoys me.. because people who really want to help and are all about the cause, will do all the good without feeling the need to take recognition for what they've done, people who do that in my eyes are only doing the good so they can feel better about themselves and have people think of them better.

Yeah I get you, but it's human nature to want recognition, it doesn't downplay what helpful things the person in particular does, it's a very normal thing to want. She's obviously into BookFace Twatter Instanoodles and all that stuff, she's probably one of them who posts pictures of her fancy meals out and whatnot, she obviously craves some sort of recognition but at the same time is just documenting her daily activities for her friends and family to see. Most people like some recognition for good acts, it's just how most people would deal with it tbh.

You've just said it yourself, she wants recognition from all of the good things she has done, in other words, attention and for people to fawn over her, yes okay she has done some half decent things, but lets not forget that the majority of those things she would have been told to do to keep up the appearance of 'Miss Derry' no act is selfless, even less so when someone craves attention from doing so :shrug:
