Repeating myself here but there was no manipulation on the LIVE FEED.

You're acting like it'd be just you and Gary in lift 24/7 :laugh: There are 11 other people and a whole house to spread out in. You wouldn't have to be with him constantly.

I'm sure he'd be annoying at times but so would anybody else on this earth. Everybody has pros and cons and he does have some of the more typical housemate cons, e.g. Never cooking or cleaning. It'd be annoying but it wouldn't make me uncomfortable. Being bitched about and sniggered at would make me feel uncomfortable, and Gary doesn't do that.

In summary, yes I can see how some aspects of him might be annoying to live with. However, there are traits in the other hms that I think would be awful to live with, and Gary just doesn't compare.

And to clarify, I didn't know who he was before BB and was disappointed a Hollywood star was going in because I presumed he'd just be typical and boring, so none of my opinion of him is based on me being a fan of his films or anything.

With your response you have avoided all of the points I made about how treatment of Gary appeared the same on live feed...

Arrgghh you're saying that we're all so foolish that BB is manipulating us into thinking Gary is being treated badly on the highlights, but the LIVE FEED shows the exact same treatment. Therefore, chances are, it isn't manipulation. They really are just arseholes.

Right...well we are using Live Feed to prove our point because that's not manipulated at all and the highlights are edited...therefore if the housemates treatment of Gary is even worse on the live feed then don't you think what you are saying just isn't possible?

it is commonplace...in fact id say 90% of the care homes around here have cases of abuse or neglect.....the staff warn people never to bring their relatives there. people just dont care anymore. maybe its the drugs they get prescribed that kill their senses

I didn't see him being treated badly on live feed...he had his conversation with James...just because George walked into the kitchen ? Are any of you even listening to gary? He doesn't take it personally...he's there to play the game and win..he's quiet capable of looking after himself...look at the man...not his age and not his disability!

they squeezed a whole load of ignorant bullying into 60 minutes .......and we didnt even hear half of it as BB dubbed it out

Just because Gary is able to look after himself doesn't make the treatment other people throw at him any more justified. I am looking at the man not his age or disability.. No person deserves to be isolated or looked down upon like Gary is sometimes. It is the housemates who seem to be judging Gary based on his disability.

That live feed was just after live nominations though when tensions and feelings are running high. It's not a good example of what a normal everyday live feed may be like.

I'm actually disgusted that they are treating him like that. They have no patience and no respect, it really is awful. They should be ashamed of themselves. Dee tries to make out she's a mother hen type figure, yet the one person that could do with a bit of help, she's shunning, just like the rest of them in there are. :rant:

Ive just wrote this on the Live Feed thread.
On live feed lastnight I watched and people didn't want to talk to him he went to talk to George he spoke a couple of words to him and walked away Gary then went to the kitchen area and Ricci and James walked away from him nobody want's to talk to this guy.Dee then went from the garden and slagged him off for no reason at all what is up with these nasty folk.

:( I think now they will be jealous of his popularity.
