If I had a newborn baby who was hungry, I'd do it in public. But I'd find somewhere quiet to do it. (tbh, i'd probably have stocked up before hand)

I can understand why its something that people find uncomfortable. I would if I saw it in public. But I wouldn't cause a fuss, because at the end of the day, as great as boobs are, that's all they are for.

Breastfeed where you like, but be discreet about it, use a shawl. Next time I see someone doing a whole Earth Mother Production though, I'm getting mine out too.

I always said I would...until I tried it. Its really not as easy as it appears getting them latched on correctly and that. So I probably wouldnt. If I could do it discreetly I would, but taking like half an hour of repositioning baby would have everyone staring :laugh:

I had no problem feeding around people though tbh, even did it when my father in law was here...aslong as baby is latched before they come in :S
