Well that could be part of the forum policy, when you join you make a post or a thread in the lobby introducing yourself

Yeah 5 posts is alright but what's the point? What's to stop a multi from posting 5 times then going into chat and games and causing drama? What's to stop a multi from causing drama in other parts of the forum?

The huge majority of new members (who arent multis or invited here by members) never even know there is a c&g section :laugh: Most of the BB posters only chat about BB, until someone points out the other sections

it proves that most new members, yourself included, posted in the relevant TV show sub forum before going to chat and games, which is what pretty much all members do

People 99% of the time join this forum to discuss a TV show not to mess about in Chat and Games which people tend to do when they get friendly with other posters or hang around for off season.

Not too sure if it's just coincidence but i also find it funny that the members which have voted to no are also members which have never posted their pictures on here and as such never had their privacy potentially infringed

The Weaves aren't exactly smart or subtle with their multis or in general. With this in place we'd be able to stop them in their tracks a lot quicker and easier although.... if they don't stop they may find that their bullying of others will come with real life ramifications...

Well for one I wasn't talking about most new members I was talking about my own experience when I joined the forum. And I posted in the bb section most because it was the run up to c5 big brother it doesn't mean I wasn't still looking at the c&g section I may if just been a bit intimidated to vote at first.

Once you join you'll be able to view it straight away, most people feel intimidated to post in there so posting in the BB forums (building your post count) before posting in C&G doesn't really seem like a problem? :conf2:

it's not a big issue to block people from seeing it, a lot of other forums have hidden sections to non-members

I don't see why a guest would want to see it if they were like a new member anyway, they're most likely here for the bb news and dont need to see C&G; it should defo be privatised because of the multi situation too

You are probably right, the way I view public forums is I never impart any information that I wouldn't want some stranger to use against me, and if I do share my private life and photos with the world and his wife I must be prepared for it at some point to come back and bite me on the ass, lets not be naive here even making the forum private to members only won't solve the problem completely the only way to do that is to keep your private life between you and trusted friends.
