Don't mind him, though he talks absolute crap about politics D:

Hes an odd one though. He is like a teen in the body of an OAP. Was nice seeing him actually have fun last night instead of sitting looking like hes sucking a lemon

He's one the most boring HM's in there this year, he just lacks any personality, I thiink there's I void look in his eyes when he's talking or in a conversation with other HM's.

I have many friends who are Conservative supporters, we do argue a lot on some issues but we see ourselves as still great people.
Look at you and I during the election, we were total opposites then.
The secret is never to allow divisions no matter how great to sacrifice futures,or the unity of the past either.

I have to say I actually really like Joel, from what I have seen as to him,he reminds me a lot of how I used to be and how I still am in many ways.
I have little humour, am most of the time really serious,I prefer being around the pack but not part of it.
I think like me too, he has his eyes set on his future and he doesn't want to do anything that may be seen as risky or 'out of line'.

I do have a more wilder side to myself from what I have thus far seen as to Joel but I am interested in him and would,as I said before, be spending a lot of time, chatting to him and debating/challenging him on many issues.
He cannot get a good debate going in there as to politics and maybe politics is his only thing really.
Which makes him possibly look a little lost and out of place.

:wavey:Joey,I agree Joey, even when we are on opposite sides,it's all good as I know as a person you are good,as for Joel,he annoyed me once,I think its when he was going on at Simon, but I quite like the fellow so far,he is a bit like an old man sometimes but that is funny, lol

cant stand Joel but agree with him politically.

Daniel-X 10-06-2015 10:09 PM

Yeah I did like him at first and I liked him tbh up until this week, I've found him incredibley annoying and patronising this week and I'm sick of his constant moaning about everything. He just treats big brother like a big general election debate and it's beginning to grate on me now.

Josy 10-06-2015 10:10 PM

Everything about him is so awkward, even when he's 'having fun' like when he was doing the rap/dancing and when he's cheering about stuff it's just sooo awkward that it's funny

Why he was saved over Eileen I still don't know.

BigBrotherfan4ever 11-06-2015 07:09 AM

I did like like Joel, but over the last week I've totally went off him, & I truely disagree with his politics, can't stand the Tories.

Rob4 11-06-2015 07:44 AM

Do not agree with his politics and he seems to be an old man in a boys body, very awkward, but he knows his own mind and has never allowed anyone to bully him which I respect.

mrflibble 11-06-2015 08:04 AM

I couldn't care less about his politics or anything he's done prior to entering the house. I like how he's been in the house so far, so .. yes?

Me either

He's a silly boy who has latched on to a certain ideology as a mindset that he seems to extend even to us and them supermarkets, it was this conversation which I felt was the most telling about Joel.

:clap1::clap1::clap1:

yes yes yes

I'm so glad someone else notices that 'dead' look in his eyes. God, there is something deeply odd about it. I really don't like him at all.

Two other things I don't like about him are:

1. He takes a sneering delight when others are in trouble with the authority of BB. You watch his face.

2. He is horribly self-righteous and is the first one to gang up on someone when the crowd are against them. Think of how he stands over Simon for example, chopping his hand and acting like the big man.

His whole 'main thing' is basically trying to act like a politician on newsnight. The way he talks and argues with those very.. controlled.. pauses and the 'chopping down' hand movements = GRRRRR. It's EXACTLY how most politicans speak and act on debates shows, and is exactly why most people don't trust most politicians - it's all too contrived and unnatural that way of talking.

It's like he has watched and studied others for hours on end and then copied it.

It's not the real Joel.

Who is the real Joel?

IMO - it's the guy parading around in Eileen's gold clothes, the same guy who had camp banter and baths with Aaron for weeks on end.

Some might say he was a repressed homosexual in denial which would cause a lot of his self-righteous anger and control issues. I know someone like that who came out recently and is a much kinder and more relaxed person since coming out as gay.

Looking forward to have all the other housemates' political persuasion highlighted in a thread. That's if any of them can be arsed to vote, of course.
