Actually there's quite a bit of game and bitchiness that can be played within the constraints of the nomination wheel. The order an HoH places the keys in the box usually reflects who they do and don't like and can expose alliances, or is a complete masquerade, or even better...can produce moments like Scumanda's realisation that one of her and McCrae were guaranteed to be nominated, and that then they were both nominated <3
It was suspenseful and also symbolic in much the same way the torches in Survivor are. You get your key to the house, and you're safe. They may want to make the show more ~hi tech~ but when the house itself is ten ****ing years old and they've only just upgraded to HD maybe they should prioritise modernising these things as opposed to one thing, that as Troy said, didn't need changing. The saying 'if it ain't broke' has never been more appropriate. |
