That's probably the oddest statement I've yet to read on these forums.

I've noticed you have a tendency to always stick with the bullies but why is Brian a coward?

Agreed!

I still like him (I think) but man oh man was he OTT after Chloe's nom! Wooo!

He basically just used that opportunity to vent his anger from the bunker. It was nothing to do with Chloe. It was all about him letting off steam.

Totally misplaced emotions from Brian and yes it did make him look like a bell end, I'm afraid to say.

Especially when he suggested nomming Chloe in the bunker himself!

I thought her post was pretty straight forward. Look up the definition of bully then look up Brian Belo and you can mix the 2. He is a typical coward because he wont admit his failings. He chose Chloe to go into the danger zone which resulted in her nomination then he tries to deflect the blame and to boot offers a vitriolic attack on someone who had the same level of input as he did and TBH, both Marc and Helen were trying to quell the situation down, not inflame it. Belo stage managed that outburst to make himself look like a really nice guy when in reality, he is a sneaky little ****.

DemolitionRed 17-06-2015 09:35 AM

The main thing that stands out to me in the house is fear. Sam, Harry, Chloe and (Jack up until last night) show a genuine fear towards Helen. Nikki ass licks Helen, not because she likes her but because she's frightened of her. They also fear Marc since he teamed up with Helen. for those who can sit back and enjoy their fear, all I can say is, it says more about you than it does about them.

Brian can see that fear and he refuses to sit back and watch it. He is exactly what is needed in this house as it presently stands. Someone else on these forums called him a coward; there is nothing cowardly about what he did last night no matter what way you look at it.

Everything he did last night was cowardly. He nominated her and was probably more responsible than the others for her nomination and then he tries to deflect the blame onto 2 people that he knew would be an easy target. That my friend is the definition of coward.

He did put Chloe in the unsafe zone but we don't know what happened after that.

He didn't react because he didn't think Chloe should of been in the unsafe zone, he reacted because those two cold hearted c---s have been behaving like the monsters that they are for days. This wasn't about the nomination, it was just a trigger over their general behaviour towards others in the house. Of course Helen and Marc tried to calm the situation down, there's nothing a bully fears more than being put in the firing line and that's exactly what Brian did to them last night. Of course, neither will have the intelligence to understand about last nights outburst and will continue to pin it on an over reaction over Chloes nomination... that is their only tool for damage limitation, but both of them now know that Brian is their biggest threat in the house.

People don't side with bullies if they have a stronger person to lead them and Brian is far stronger than those two could ever be.

I thought he was trying to diffuse a situation before it started really, he knows they think she's boring but as he felt bad about suggesting her too didn't want them to upset her even more :(
Maybe it was a tad OTT but in all fairness that group are like an out of control steamroller atm.

Kizzy you are right there girl. Everyone can get very animated in defence if their favs and in the face of injustice, but you are right, they are going a little hard at it and that's never a good thing is it. When they put Jack up, that will be ok for me and then they need to tell Jack they were pissing up his back and he is about as popular as STD and see how he reacts. We also need the get Jack out chants on Friday as well just to rub it in.

rubymoo 17-06-2015 10:00 AM

I did laugh when he took his shoes off.....i fully expected him to remove his socks and start hitting them with it:laugh: (with the sock, not the shoes)

But why be so cruel? I don't get it:conf:

Legend. I was suprised he agreed to be involved in the trampfest that BB has become now but he is proving again what a great housemate he was and still is.

Tom4784 17-06-2015 10:12 AM

His reaction was fair, he wasn't mad at Chloe being up he was mad that they wouldn't let her say her piece and that spilled into the fact that Helen and Marc have marginalised him in the decision making. OTT reaction but a fair one.

vortex 17-06-2015 11:03 AM

His rant made things worse actually, nobody was picking on Chloe.

Love can do strange things to a person. Brian Belo has woken up with a need to hug Helen Wood. Never again will he throw his shoes over his head in anger. That’s spiritual, dude

I agree and to top it all it was him who wanted her up.

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 17-06-2015 12:10 PM

Lmao at Brian thinking that saying please i'm saying this man t man get me out of here was going to work and he wasn't going to get the big brother kool aid of "Big brother suggests that you think about it first" after that he knew he was fooked and would stay that's why he rubbed his face.

Exactly, he looked really foolish in the end and I think he really knew he did too.
His request to leave looking all the more foolish too since he is now back in the house.

So much for any conviction of principle.
Sad too because he is a BB winner I have always liked.

His reaction exacerbated the situation and made it much more of a thing. Like 20s in it was him blocking Chloe from talking not the devious duo
