Chip on shoulder?

abhorson 07-07-2015 12:16 AM

Marc would have loved Nick doing that!!

Tom4784 07-07-2015 12:21 AM

I'd have wasted all the money. Most of them are so desperate and convinced of their own victory that it would be immensely satisfying to ensure that they win nothing.

Jack_ 07-07-2015 12:39 AM

I would have done the same thing, if I went in I'd want to be there from day one till the final day (I'd even be annoyed to be a latecomer) to get the full experience. Winning would be a bonus and the money would just be an extra as far as I'm concerned, and I think that's how he feels.

What annoyed me the most was Harry's reaction about ~cheating~ your way to the final. I mean yeah, I guess it kind of is - but if Big Brother has provided you with the opportunity it's not really cheating per se. And her analogy about how people should have to 'earn' things and not buy their way into it was stupid. In the real world, yes, people who can buy their way into privileged jobs, education and opportunities - awful. But in a reality TV gameshow? Seriously? It's a totally different entity, it isn't real life and I don't see what the problem is.

It is a shame it was Nick and not Jack that got it though cause he's a borderline bore to be quite honest.

I'll be completely honest and admit that until Harry said "0" I thought they had to offer actual amount of money. But then both Sam and Jack said "0" too, so I felt rather dumb for not figuring out it could have been 0

That said, I was thinking biding 1£ would be fair to Chloe and minimum amount.

So he pretty much threw away 4999£ due to being selfish.

BB4fan 07-07-2015 12:44 AM

It's part of the game so hopefully the spoiled little Chloe will have a good chance of going.

you're right he should've went all Kamikaze with prize fund.

Tregard 07-07-2015 03:12 AM

From the sounds of it, 5k was the maximum he could bid, I bet he would've bid more if he could.

This will, if anything, just do better for him. Nobody who liked Nick for what he was will dislike him after this move, and those who do like him for his self-admitted coldness will see this as the sort of thing Nick would do.

I respect Nick more after that, the other HMs are competitors. I wouldn't even need to contemplate it I'd do the same in a heartbeat.

Is Nick going to be friends with Chloe or all the other HMs for life? No.

If anything Sam, Harry and Jack are the wankers, especially Sam and Harry. They've put you up every single week, save yourself, the other HMs don't care about you.

Nice one.You do know that revolution doesn't have to be violent, don't you ?

It's usually the state forces protecting the Rich

and the Establishment that turn it violent,

cracking open the heads of peaceful Revolutionaries to try and silence them.

south12345 07-07-2015 11:51 AM

All those that bid with a big zero went up in my estimation.

Nick may have got his ticket to the final but he has tarnished himself with the brush of being selfish. He should have had the confidence in himself that he would sail through Fridays eviction unblemished. Selfless acts are more appealing than selfish ones in my way of thinking and he has just shown what sort of person he is, esp as he says hes just being himself in the house.

waterhog 07-07-2015 04:21 PM

any respect he had is long gone.

Why would you respect him more after that? for his "honesty"? is it hard to be honest? NO. So why respect him more for honesty? Everyone can be honest, infact more people are honest than not honest. How would you know he will not or did not plan on remaining friends with any of the other housemates? IT HAS been a life changing experience in there, shared with those people he is in that house with, he SHOULD remain friends with at least some of them, if he is a socially normal human being..

REDCROP 07-07-2015 04:55 PM

Why would anyone put Chloe over themselves...WHY...Nick was bang on right....Jack put her first and look how she's treating him now.....she'd snatch the cash from everyone of em in a flash of a second if she cud

i hate the ones who pretend they're just the lovely average joe bloggs kid next door who only want everyone to be happy.....LETS GET RID OF HER AND FAST

Honest examples

Mark....Im here to f-ck up their fridays
Nick ..im here to be in the final
Jack...im here for the money
Harry..if i can't be in the final with the public behind me then i'd rather not be in it at all

I really don't think Chloe would snatch cash. From anyone, she only seems to be sensible about the cash but not money grabbing.

**** loyalty in there. It's a gameshow!Would you go Catchphrase and let someone else win? No.They're in there to win!I actually got abit more respect for Nick now after he's let Harry walk all over him.

Again, is it hard to be honest why such a boost of respect to Nick for being a Ahole? People can be honest in a nice way and also in a ahole way.. does the Ahole way appeal to you more? I just want to know why you respect him more? Is it THAT hard to be honest? I dont think so.

RodHull 07-07-2015 11:35 PM

Id have bet the whole amount in one just to see their faces when the prize was a big fat zero. Then see how 'not bothered about the money' they all are

I'm glad they're showing their true colours, it's just bull**** that Marc got blamed for everything.

Ammi 08-07-2015 03:26 AM

..Nick leading the pack against Harry last night, as always the devoted friend..:bored:...

ConnieLingus 08-07-2015 03:40 AM

Oh poor Chloe. It'th jutht terrible that she ith targetted.

Anyone with a father in jail for drugs dealing doesn't deserve to be on telly. We don't know what money she has had from his ill gotten gains, or even if she had knowledge of his crimes before he was caught. That's the nature of the beast when you come from a scum family.

Razor 08-07-2015 10:17 AM

I thought it was piss funny.

Pete. 08-07-2015 10:20 AM

Nick is honestly awful, he was my fave male a few days ago now after he stabbed Chloe and Harry in the back and has successful made them look bad I have zero appreciation for him.

Thank goodness he has no chance of winning
