It's fine Livia, I just hate it when someone preaches that they have the freedom of speech when it's such a horrid remark like Will posted. Saying that a picture of a transsexual makes you sick, when that person probably wouldn't even have realised if it hadn't been pointed out to them isn't freedom of speech. It's a comment meant to offend and hurt.

I think it's inappropriate to 'kid' about being transphobic when there are huge amounts of hate crime towards transpeople.

For transgender people that is 1 in 12. If you also happen to be black, then it's 1 in 8.

I did not mean that LT was kidding about the actual transphobic comment, but was gently teasing Will about getting so wound up about what some knobhead said AND where they he had said it. At least that is how I perceived LT's comments.
