It is literally entirely meaningless and will never bring you happiness. Being poor can result in misery, that much is true, but that's something different... So long as you have enough to pay the bills and be comfortable, "more cash" is genuinely worthless if you don't have anyone worth spending it with.

I'm basically the opposite... 10 years ago I'd have said I'd DEFINITELY marry for $$$. These days I couldn't give a stuff :joker:. I'd like a nicer house but that should happen in the next 5 years or so anyway... and other than that (like I said, so long as we're comfortable) I just don't want anything that can be acquired with money :shrug:. Zero interest.
