Absolutely agree here. We don't know the full story, and I am beginning to wonder if Jason is as innocent as he is making out.

For all we know, he might have repeatedly said the same things to her, then repeatedly got back together with her, thereby sending mixed messages and making it difficult for her to know where she stands. Maybe that's why she finds it hard to believe what he is saying- still he hasn't the guts to be honest, and actually say he is not interested in getting back with her, instead suggesting they will talk outside the house, and thereby implying there might be a chance.

I don't believe for one minute that he is a complete innocent here; I do believe he needs to take some responsibility for her confusion.

To be honest, if you repeatedly sleep with someone who is deeply in love with you (5 months?) you are an insensitive user, messing with someone's head, and deserve everything you get.

So many people seem to have so much respect for Jason, and see him as a sensitive, kind, gallant man, whereas Charlie is receiving a very negative response. The whole thing is horrendously messy but I don't believe, for one moment, that Charlie deserves the hatred she is receiving, or that Jason deserves the respect directed his way.

I don't know what went on with Charlie and Jason before they were housemates, but I get the feeling that Jason is one of those men who hates to make women cry or hurt their feelings. That is why he is not being cruel and blunt with Charlie.
I don't beleive Charlie has mistaken Jason's feelings for her. It sounds as if bad feeling built up over the five months they were together, with Jason hoping things would get better, but Charlie being jealous of anyone/thing who took his attention away from her.
She admitted herself that she craves constant attention and just won't listen to criticism. Jason has tried quite a few times to make it clear that their is no relationship anymore, but would like friendship, especially whilst they are in the house.
If Charlie keeps on at him, he will either have to be bluntly honest or leave the house.
