I didn't quote him directly LT, and didn't state I had, if you misunderstood then that's your issue.

It does not deflect from the issue that thus far brexit has cost much more than it professed to save.

Don't talk about backing horses LT I very seriously considered whacking £250 on "leave" when it drifted to 7/1, but then I thought to myself "No no no Toy Soldier don't be daft, the UK public are mugs but they're not THAT ****ing stupid, it'll never be a leave result" so I didn't put on a damned penny.

More fool me. I'll know better next time. "Aha! A vote on really stupid ****? The muggles will be all over that! Lump on lump on ..."

7/1 vs 1/10, in response to some rather rich (now slightly less rich...) people hammering millions on "Remain" at 1/3.

With the way the Labour Party is at the moment, and the Lib Dems MIA it could be the rise and rise of UKIP

farage tells the harsh truth, he should be part of the brexit government, he knows more about the EU and how to get out of it, and he knows how devious they are, he understands the economics of the EU better than anyone else, and I ask the remain voters, did you want britain to be part of the european superstate, and have merkel as your leader, telling you what to do, britain did not fight two world wars, so that germany today could rule the roost,

I 100% agree.
I thought he delivered an amazing speech and showed them up for what they are...a corrupt bunch of self serving ignorant fools. It made me proud to be British.

It was a good speech he gave as that is what Nigel is all about, saying it how it really is and not giving a damn whether people get offended or not.

Some might say that his sort of approach will offend people and actually do more harm than good, as being rude and insulting will actually make the people in that room want to make things more difficult for the UK after Brexit because of what Nigel has said and the way he said it.

Also with the reports of racism lately in the UK since brexit will have got back to the leaders and other politicians in these European countries, so they will in turn look upon a lot of the UK citizens as a bunch of racist scum.

Well all I can say is that we must look upon those people and countries as outsiders now and concentrate on our own country and make it great without the rest of Europe which actually we need a lot less than you think.

What relevance is that? We are ALL African if we trace our ancestry back.

What relevance did Empires reference have to the modern day situation in Europe?

joeysteele 28-06-2016 11:03 PM

I still think other than his last few sentences that while the tone was far better then, overall he was unnecessarily rude and insulting.

Not a good example from the UK I thought I once lived in but now apparently not so.

When you get laughed at for years and years like he was, then I think you would better understand. I thought it was very rich of that man to lecture the audience about "democracy" and how it means listening to other people. Cheeky bastard.
