Yeah this, it was nothing bad. I'm surprised with having the nickname of 'Heavy D' that he hasn't received more comments like this, even on forums and stuff.

I hate people who eat grass

LukeB 15-08-2016 03:03 PM

but yeah since people are saying he's eating a lot of the food then it's a fair nomination. Food needs to last and if someone is eating most of it then it's being selfish and inconsiderate.

I think there are different connotations when the person is actually fat though, it's not like there aren't a myriad other reasons to nominate him, I didn't think it warranted bringing greed into the equation.

Definitely are! If they chose the right punishments it could be very amusing- they have potential to create a lot of humour if they put some thought into it!

Why not? Greed is considered one of the seven cardinal sins. According to Wikipedia, the other six are hubris, lust, malicious envy, gluttony, inordinate anger and sloth. If you don't think he's guilty of all of the above, I guess we've been watching a different Heavy D. He does seem to tick all the boxes.

Because he is a bloke it is considered fine. If they were all nominating a woman for that reason then there would be uproar.

Can you imagine if it was Renee they said it about ? Jesus !! and she's not Dainty Dora !!

They're 'celebs', virtually every week they'll get a luxury shopping budget.

If he has an eating disorder and in addition if he's a bit backward and a vulnerable adult then BB should either not have placed him in the house or should have made the others aware of his special needs...otherwise it's cruel....on the other hand if he isn't any of those things then hes just a wind up merchant the same as Bear....only not as good or as funny.
Just like Lewis isn't responsible for what Bear does I also don't think Bear is responsible for what Heavy does....when some accuse Bear and Lewis of coercion it once again creates a false image of both of them....if anyone is coercing people I would say it's Renee

jaxie 15-08-2016 04:17 PM

I don't like fat shaming and I didn't really see the nominations as fat shaming D to be honest. I don't think being greedy is really calling him fat, a thin person can be greedy too. But I don't like Heavy D as a person so I could have some bias.

Ian Coke 15-08-2016 04:49 PM

What's really depressing about 'Heavy D' is that in spite of them humiliating him, time after time, he'd still do anything to be accepted by Spewis and Blair.

Crimson Dynamo 15-08-2016 04:57 PM

He is fat and greedy. Fact.

Agree with that it's like the unpopular kid at school trying to fit in somewhere and failing, it's quite sad really that his self esteem is so low he needs their approval

If he was in his twenties, I could understand. But Colin's allowing himself to be played like a fool by people he's old enough to have fathered. It's not a pretty sight.

You say that but he has come out with some classic home truths about them

What, about the showmances? Wouldn't it be incredibly sad if a forty year old man didn't have something useful to say about relationships? It's incredibly sad that 'Heavy' doesn't, don't you think? Has he ever had a girlfriend, or boyfriend? I suppose he may have hired an escort in the past, but ... basically, it's too depressing to think about.
