Tbh you're lucky it wasn't much worse of a reaction, you could have went into anaphylactic shock and died.

Good luck at the docs, they are brutal for trying to find out what you are specifically allergic to.

Josy being the Renee of the forum and telling it straight

Welp what should I expect :worry:

Depends on the doctors assessment. But, for example, are you sure the swellings that you have were caused by bug bites? Skin issues are a common symptom of alergies.

You may be in for a few weeks where they test your body for many common allergens ... thats always good for a laugh

Well now you mention it I can kind of see it now. Me on my death bed... Family and friend stand around me.. I pay them no attention as I'm making a top 20 ranking thread... in my final moment I let out a death rattle that sounds suspiciously like "poll incoming". Then you see my spirt typing away as it ascends into the after life!

Yeah I called the gb and got an appointment with them on Friday, not sure what will actually come of it but hopefully they run some tests and find out exactly what I'm allergic too.

Well at least you'll find out - prob get an Epi Pen just in case

Enlarged thyroid can cause pressure on the throat also. Seems unlikely in this case, but just thought I would put it out there.
