Agree with every word. If the details are correct then the paper should print as much as they can. Its their job.

It was the truth, I agree.
He has always been rather pompous.

GiRTh 04-09-2016 10:57 PM

Agree. He seems to be saying the most disgraceful thing here is the fact that he got caught.

He should resign as an MP really. Not so much about what he has been up to, but the fact he has shown himself to be self serving and corrupt ... its obscene really

Crimson Dynamo 05-09-2016 11:42 AM

I wonder how many more senior labour mps are like this?

they really are a sleazy party, no wonder they are in rapid decline

I agree but I'm not holding my breath on that one that he will.

However, It may well be that he does not get selected for the seat again, isn't Leicester one of the possible targets as to changes from the boundary commission, if those changes are voted for in Parliament.

He would I am sure be a goner as a MP then.

I am fine kyle, hope you are too, you have been a miss on here..

I still hover round serious debates and it still astounds me, although it shouldn't, when stories like Vaz's come up.

i think it's a bit unfair. it's not his fault that his wife can't satisfy him sexually. i'm sure he wishes she could.

I keep hearing people repeat that he has done nothing illegal. Well, that's a matter for conjecture as no one knows the whole story so it's impossible to say categorically whether or not what happened was legal or not. However, he is an MP and therefore has a moral obligation not be be a sleaze. It's not the fact that the prostitutes he used were male, there are openly gay MPs, no one has a problem with that. But people do have a problem with the fact that while he was entertaining the rent boys he was married. What's more, he was entertaining them in his London flat, paid for in its entirety by the tax payer.

He has no option but to step down from the Home Affairs Select Committee, his place there was untenable.

He had to really, this would have gone on and on had he not.
Good riddance, apparently even the Labour members of the committee wanted him to go as well.

kirklancaster 06-09-2016 04:17 PM

I've never liked him. His father should have had a VAZectomy. :hee:
